I’m not usually one for leaving reviews, but I felt I needed to share this experience. I purchased a car on finance five years ago from another dealer in Crawley, and the experience was so awful that I was really apprehensive about buying another car. That all changed when I walked into Taylor’s Pitstop and was greeted by Paul from the sales team. Paul restored my faith in the car industry. From start to finish, his friendly and professional approach was outstanding, and he made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. Thank you, Paul. After 6–8 weeks, I noticed excessive play in the steering wheel, and all my old doubts started creeping back in. I assumed I’d be given the runaround when taking it back under warranty. Then I spoke to Nick on the service desk. Nick’s friendly, calm, and approachable manner was refreshing. There was no hesitation at all — the car was booked in, diagnosed, and repaired without so much as an issue. To keep this review honest, the only slight gripe I have is more about the warranty itself. My reverse sensors stopped working after only a few months, and unfortunately that isn’t covered, which is a little frustrating. However, Nick pointed me in the direction of a local company who can replace them, which I plan to do when funds allow. Thank you, Paul and Nick, for restoring my faith in the motor industry.

Didn’t really know what Car would be best for us, but Paul knock came out and suggested a car which my wife love straight away and bought the service we got from Paul was extraordinary and really really helpful. Thank you very much, Mr Ballam and Mrs Ballam

Had problem with tyre pressure monitor,new part fitted very quickly,outstanding service and end result was beyond what we expected

Put deposit down didnt end up buying due to them lying and saying they wont refund until some other mug puts deposit down !

I purchased a Nissan Juke off Taylors Pitstop in May and the very next day the clutch decided to pack up on me miles from my home. Eventually the AA took the car back to Horley who then apparently repaired the said clutch. 20 days later, again miles from my home, the clutch burnt out and once again the AA returned the car to Horley for repair. However this time Pitstop refused to repair the vehicle claiming the burnt out clutch was caused by the driver i.e. myself. Obviously, I was not too pleased with this response, as I have been driving all sorts of vehicles for over 50 years and never had a clutch burn out on me. Upon further investigation it transpired that on the first clutch repair, the Company had not replaced the fly wheel which is recommended, so I did have a case for them to answer under the warranty or to reject the car. And was advised to take legal action by the Solicitors. The Company then told me they wanted £925.00 to fix the car plus they decided they were going to charge me storage of £30 per day plus vat. I wanted the situation resolved so I offered to sell them back the vehicle at a greatly reduced price which they agreed to, they then sold the car within a week for £2100 more. Obviously due to all the above I could not possibly recommend purchasing a car off this Company.

I bought my VW Polo in August. So far, I have only had a minor issue with this car and it was sorted. Paul and Stewart have been very helpful. Thank you very much.

We have been with Taylor’s Pitstop Garage since 2010 and have always received excellent customer service. However it is a pleasure to find that Stewart is back managing the Service desk. Stewart is always professional, patient, informative and welcoming. He is a credit to Taylor’s Pitstop. In fact we would go as far as to say that from the sales staff to the garage staff Taylor’s Pitstop ticks all the boxes.
