**DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS GARAGE*** And I cannot stress this enough! We purchased a vehicle from Zeus Cars on 2nd February 2026. We were told it came with 1 month’s warranty from Zeus Cars and an additional 12-month third-party warranty with Auto Select. On 4th February 2026 — just two days later — the vehicle broke down, failing to start late at night and leaving us stranded over three hours from home. We had to arrange overnight accommodation and were unable to attend work the following day, resulting in lost earnings. When we contacted the garage the next morning, we were told to go through the warranty. After several calls — during which the salesman was dismissive, rude and ended calls abruptly — we were informed by email that no action would be taken without a formal diagnostic report. After repeated unanswered calls, we had no choice but to pay for recovery and diagnostics ourselves. The diagnostic confirmed a failed starter motor and relay, with a repair quote of £1,200, along with multiple safety issues requiring urgent attention to make the vehicle safe to drive. The 12-month warranty company, Auto Select, would only contribute £270 towards the repair. We sent the full report to Zeus Cars, giving them the opportunity to either pay for repairs (including safety-critical items) or recover the vehicle and refund us. After significant back and forth and difficulty getting through to anyone, they eventually agreed to refund the purchase price only. We were required to arrange and pay for recovery back to the garage ourselves and cover all diagnostic and recovery costs. When we returned the vehicle, we were met with no apology and no empathy. When we asked about reimbursement of the £500+ spent on recovery and diagnostics (which they required before progressing), we were refused. This situation has left us without a vehicle, over £500 out of pocket, and caused considerable stress, lost time and financial loss — all within days of purchase. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this business.
