I was looking for a Mk5 Golf Gti and the one A1 Ortos had advertised was exactly what I was looking for. Tony the salesman who looked after me was superb throughout. He even managed to track down a spare key over 3 months after I bought the car. I'd happily by another car from them and would recommend A1 to anyone looking for something a little special!

Nothing of note to criticise or praise.As always do your own research on the car and price.Beware there is £99.00 charge on all transactions which you won't be told about till you hand money over.For £17,450 I didn't get the vehicle handbook or second key in total £200 extra for me to buy.Don't believe the "we will send it on to you" routine.You won't get one! Not saying I wouldn't go back but know exactly what you are doing.

I had a really nice experience when buying my car from a1 ortos. All the staff were lovely and most of all my car is perfect! Highly,highly recommend them and will be buying my next car from them without a doubt. Take a look for yourself and make you're own opinion, their showroom is huge definitely worth a look!

I went to test drive a car on Wednesday 20 April only to be told the car wasn't on site I arranged the finance and deposit and a test drive for the Friday I was told I would receive a phone call on Thursday after 4 to confirm the car was on site I had no phone call on the Thursday instead I received a phone call on Friday morning to tell me someone had come late on Thursday and secured the car I wanted with a deposit when I said I was waiting for them to call I was told the dealer was on his own and never got a chance to phone me I am extremely disappointed and felt very let down with the customer service I received the dealer in question is called Tony Priest he was very arrogant and unhelpful and needs to go for customer service lessons I would not Recommend A1 autos to anyone that likes to be treated with respect after reading the other reviews I feel I've had a lucky escape

Paid monies over to garage for the purchase of a car only to be told they didn't know when we could collect the car. Said they needed the V5 for my car - like I am going to give them this along with the monies for their car! Policy for them checking the vehicle to be road worthy went from 3-5 working days to 3-7 and the vehicle was still for sale on the website! 3-7 working days raises alarm bells and tells me the vehicle probably isn't fit for purpose - especially if you read other reviews. Arrogant and typical sales rep - the usual talk with no substance! Absolutely appalling and unprofessional. Should be closed down in my opinion!

Bought a BMW from A1 Ortos in Oldham and was told it was showroom condition, it was not. The wheels were curbed, which is fair enough, but why say showroom condition. Mentioned the wheels to the salesman and he said we will try and sort them out, no they didn't. There was only one key, don't worry we will try and get the other off the previous owner who traded it in, no they have not. Decided to have the wheels refurbished at a local body shop and while I was there the guy who owns the body shop told me it has had a bump on the front right bumper and it has had a bad repair, I am thinking I've bought a dog, had the repair re-repaired at a cost of £100. Just remembered when I purchased the car they charged me a administration fee of £100 which was never mentioned until I was paying. Not had any paper work regards the work carried out for the car to pass its MOT and the service it had, which I was promised on letter headed paper. Overall a bad experience of buying a car from this garage.
