Customer bought a petrol insignia in september 2022. The car was supplied with 24 month warranty, 12 months mot and was fully serviced. The customer inspected the car and was given a test drive. He was happy to proceed with purchasing the vehicle and took the car away on the day. He drove the car back to Aberdeen(300 miles). His initial complaint and everything really thereafter was because a service message appeared on the dash in the coming weeks. He did not believe the car was serviced even though official proof was provided. To keep him happy we booked the car(he is above booking his own car in for diagnostic) into a local garage in Aberdeen to service the vehicle(Again!) and diagnose the service light. The local garage will not deal with this customer anymore because of the abusive and threatening behaviour he showed towards them at the time. He has been abusive and threatening to our staff with a chain of threatening emails to both us and a legal company we retain. He is quite simply the most ignorant, entitled and unreasonable customer we have had the displeasure to deal with in all of our years selling used cars.

Judging by the provided name the customer bought a 15 year old(07) Mercedes Ml320 from us 12 months ago on the 4/3/2022. Heard nothing from the customer since apart from 2 weeks ago(30 Jan 2023) when we were emailed asking for a copy of the service invoice from the point of sale, which we duly emailed back. It is impossible that the vehicle has only covered 200 miles in 12 months. The extended warranty IS worth the paper it is written on and is provided free of charge to all of our customers at considerable expense to ourselves,a practice that 99% of other used car garages would not provide. The vehicle also has a history of no advisories on the MOT(14 MOT'S in its lifetime with no failures and only 3 advisories across them all), the last 6 MOT's having no advisories at all. Ace Motor Vehicles Ltd cannot be blamed for a failure(of which we have no information on what the failure is) with a used 15 year old, 100,000 mile vehicle 12 months after the vehicle was sold.

Customer bought a 13 year old 120,000 mile Nissan Qashqai in early Jan 2023. The car was serviced and MOT'd by a local independant garage at point of saleand was provided with a brand new battery. Customer had the car a few days and reported an issue about the vehicle not starting(i.e battery fault). He was told to bring the vehicle back for inspection. The customer was not happy with the vehicle but could not prove the fault existed when the vehicle was returned. We offered the customer a different vehicle that was listed at the same price £3500 as the customer did not want the Qashqai anymore. As part of the deal for the new vehicle it was agreed that we would replace the timing belt and water pump of the new vehicle at our expense (along with engine and gearbox service). £500 worth of servicing. The customer collected the vehicle a few days later and we have not heard anything since. The Qashqai was taken to a local garage for inspection. We could find no faults with non starting and subsequently sold the vehicle to a new local customer who has reported no starting faults in the first 30 days.

ANONYMOUS NON CUSTOMER Keyboard warrior carrying a non existent grudge best know to him or herself. All cars are sold with full 12 months mot and service at point of sale.d. No car sales company in the UK would allow a customer to take the vehicle to their own MOT garage for MOT as part of standard practice at point of sale. If there are any issues(mechanical or bodywork) you find when inspecting the vehicle please let us know and we would be happy to rectify them free of charge. AA inspections are welcome. All of our cars are HPI checked and are clean. We do not sell write offs. 95% of our vehicles come direct from national main dealerships. Ps, this reviewer arrived on site with very questionable motives to look at a 50,000 mile, 1 lady owner Honda Jazz automatic with full main dealership service history(12 services all at HONDA). Car was sold shortly thereafter to a happy customer. He arrived on site in a scrapheap car, a 2002 reg "suzuki wagon r" with 135k miles on the clock, worth £100 and has an astonishing 17 key advisories notices on the current MOT. He saw fit to transport his partner and baby in this vehicle(they were in the vehicle).
