Hi Mac, Firstly ACL Hire would like to take this opportunity to thank all its customers past, present and future for the continued business and support. Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to a vehicle once that vehicle has been accepted by the customer and left the premises. We treat each vehicle like our own and have done so since the company was founded back in 1959. The information we have on your vehicle appointment is as follows: You arrived at 11:00am on Friday 24th June for an 11:30am booking slot. Upon your arrival you were advised by a staff member that the appointment time for your vehicle was 11:30am. We normally quote half an hour per tyre as industry standard and we can confirm that our completion time for this job was 12:36pm. Therefore job time was a total of 1 hour & 6 mins for 2 x tyres to be fitted. In regards to the claim, there is CCTV footage (which we are happy to supply to you) which shows that you inspected both front wheels before getting in the car and leaving our site. As above, we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to a vehicle once that vehicle has been accepted by the customer and left the premises. In relation to your phone call which was made, as detailed above we cannot be held responsible for any damages caused to a vehicle once that vehicle has been accepted by the customer and left the premises. Also as detailed above, you had inspected the vehicle before leaving the premises and there was no mention of any defects. Kind regards.
