Really great service from this dealership. I purchased a Vauxhall Insignia back in August and I have only had one very minor issue with it which the dealer was happy to sort immediately. I have never bought a car before and was worried about being swindled in order to pay more as I was not knowledgable. However, Phil was so helpful and kind, he gave me advice and helped me make my mind up. The car was brilliant and ran beautifully and was a very decent price. Could not be happier with my purchase and with the service I received. Definitely would recommend to friends and family!

I don’t normally make comments, but I have to say a big thanks to Phil and his team at Aldridge car company, I’ve had my car for about 4 months when a problem arose, so I called Aldridge car company, they recommended where I should go and how to claim on my AA warranty, I was worried at first, but Phil was great, he when out of his way to make sure everything was done and in the end I didn’t have to pay a penny. Thanks again

Rang up few days before stating that I wanted to check out a car, and again on the day to double check. The guy said it was fine to head down. Turned up, was kept waiting a good 20 mins whilst he dealt with other customer. Finally spoke to us, seemed a bit off handish but thought little if it. Went out to car with him, said cash only which is odd as says debit accepted on website, and spoke of part ex also. Started the car for us, after we inspected it we asked for a test drive. Was adamant straight away that wasn't possible (no explanation) and stated that I could drive it when I buy it. I have never known a car dealer disallow a test drive. Very odd. Left us to it and went back into building. We went back inside to office and started to explain that I couldn't in good faith pay cash outright for a car I haven't test driven even though it seemed great. Before we barely started speaking he held up his hand interrupting stating that he wasn't interested in excuses and if we didn't want it fine. Very odd, no attempt to negotiate or anything. As you can imagine left very disappointed and frustrated at his unprofessional and unhelpful manner. I rarely write reviews but had to let others know of this places practices before dealing with them. Can't recommend enough you stay away from Aldridge Car Company unless you want your time wasted.

Having read your anonymous review it seems to me that if you felt so strongly about the way a member of my staff dealt with you during your visit to my showroom . It would have been much more constructive to have given me the owner of the company a call so that I could of dealt with your complaint more affectively . I have many happy customers (that like you have already stated ) would not normally leave a review but would give there sincere and honest opinion as to the way they were dealt with to my face . May I suggest next time you decide to trash an otherwise excellent company on a review site such as this one anonymously! you might take the trouble to contact its owner first giving them a fair chance to right the possible wrong......

The situation I experienced made me hesitant to have contacted you directly. I have only just seen your response to this review. I fail to see how this 'wrong' as you put it would have been dealt with. It was obvious your colleague had no interest in conducting business with me, and informing me of such before the journey would have saved us both a lot of time and effort. Everything I said stands. I was kept waiting, experienced nothing buy disinterest from your colleague, and tried to be sold a car I wasn't allowed to test drive (!) without any explanation. I have never known such a ridiculous attempt at selling a car. Frankly it's nothing short of laughable. This behaviour from a company that is meant to sell cars can generate nothing but negativity from me, and quite understandably I'm sure you'll agree. If honest feedback is called "trashing" by you, as your response suggests, then I suggest you take some lessons in conducting customer service. I'm sure your colleague at least would find it most beneficial.

Just purchased my new car from Aldridge car company. This is the third car I have bought from them over a five year period and as always was very pleased with both the car and personal service received.
Aldridge Car Centre were very good, I purchased a Jaguar xtype and I'm very pleased with it. My only gripe is they don't provide a warranty with the car so I had to purchase one at extra cost. Other than that the dealership handled the sale well and I'm happy with how the sale turned out.

I traveled a long way to Aldridge Car Company. We agreed on a price over the phone and when I arrived they would only accept sticker price which was disappointing. There was a couple of other things that hadn't been done such as an MOT which they said they would do if I left the car with them but having traveled such a long way this wasn't really an option. Overall I'm happy with the car but they let themselves down with these issues.
