Excellent service from James at Andrew James Cars. Courteous, professional and efficient. My car is absolutely lovely and the service was excellent from start to finish. Hassle free experience to be honest which makes a change. I would highly recommend them and would also go back in the future for sure when its time to change again. They even arranged a hassle free delivery which took all the stress away from collecting the car. Brilliant!

Great genuine honest and friendly people, great service. I would recommend Andrew and James to anyone in the market for a quality used car.
Car advertised with 10000 miles lower than reality and some warning lights on dashboard which weren’t supposed to be there as advertised. They only let us know about these problems when the finance company was about to make the payment. They said that obviously they can’t do anything about the mileage and that they are still working on removing the dashboard warning light. I asked them to update the price accordingly to the new findings and they offered me to cut off the FREE warranty (which is valued according to them between £500 and £700) and cut of £250 from the initial price. You don’t need too advanced maths knowledge to find out that their offer was actually worst than the initial deal so I said pass and asked them to refund the deposit and cancel the deal. I’m very curious how do they pass the MOT as it was recently done and the dashboard light problem wasn’t listed as advisory even if it should according to law. I’m wondering what other problems are on those cars which their MOT garage fails to list. They will probably add a comment to this post as they are adding to every negative review saying either that they don’t recognise me as their client or that my review doesn’t reflect reality. You choose what to believe. The car was a Jaguar XF S 3.0 silver from 2010. Be aware of the issues before buying. Good luck.

Ovidiu, thank you for your review. To offer some balance and perspective here is our take: Firstly, we have never met, you have not visited us in person and you did not ever see the car in question. We spoke on the telephone and we advised you today we would need a little more time to rectify a tyre pressure (TPMS) warning light (very minor issue) which has appeared since the vehicle had a new MOT 1 month ago. It is our meticulous attention to detail when preparing vehicles that ensures we would rather delay your visit than have a car less than perfect when you purchase. You seemed to not grasp the MOT was weeks ago and this warning light appeared during our pre sale checks. At this point you proceeded to begin trying to renegotiate the deal with a request of a discount of hundreds of pounds. Unfortunately a discount was not feasible as the car was already priced very competitively and includes our unrivalled service and inclusive one year warranty not found elsewhere. We did offer a £250 discount in lieu of the included warranty as this is what it costs us due to the volume of business we conduct with the warranty company. It is true this warranty would be £500-£750 to purchase yourself, I think you failed to grasp this point. With regards to the mileage advertised, you signed a finance agreement with the correct mileage noted. We are unsure of the complaint here but in any event if we had agreed to your demands of several hundred pounds discount it is clear we would not have received this review. We do not like to be held to ransom with threats of negative reviews and pride ourselves on having honesty and integrity. We like for our customers to appreciate the efforts we go to in order to make car buying a pleasurable experience and different to that found elsewhere. Our countless positive reviews echo this sentiment. Thank you again for your review, we wish you well finding your next vehicle but would respectfully ask it is not with ourselves in the future. As a an award winning dealer some of the best deals we do…are the ones we don’t do.
Me and my partner travelled from the midlands to purchase a Seat Ateca that was immaculate and high spec for an amazing price. We spoke to James on the phone who was very polite and informative and we were greeted and helped by Andrew at the premises. Very welcoming and comforting atmosphere and no complicated salesman jargon involved. Offered to help us retain our private plate from a fiesta that we PX, which was incredibly nice of him to do so. The process of finance was easy and stress free. Could not big these guys up enough. If you ever need a car, these are the people to see.
