Finally goes in October get it back 5th November horn still isn't working brakes have apparently been done certainly don't feel like it and only resolution they have to the stalling is its stop start doing it (the car doesn't have stop start i checked with peugeot) anyhow they say they can't fit me back in until 24th November I go to the branch because 2nd car with issues not getting resolved I'm not happy. Sonny Signh (manager) said to hand back the keys if I'm not happy and don't want it so I did only to get a call the next day from Kevin Smith (another manager) saying I can't do that. Cars been with them since 10th November. Finance company were getting no where with Arnold clarks complaints department. FINALLY today only due to getting help from somewhere else they decide to pay of my remaining finance I've lost my £500 initial deposit I put down on my first car as instead of taking it back they put it through as a trade in i was under the impression they were taking it back due to faults. Also they won't pay back the money I've paid the finance company. So I'm out of pocket i have lost EVERY payment I made to both cars + my £500 deposit! Bunch of Del Boys knew exactly what they were doing! And I will be taking this a lot further. Just give me my money back AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

PLEASE AVOID the dealership in SEAT Edinburgh Seafield if you want a quality used vehicle or if you want good customer service. I purchased an Audi A3 2015 model with 57k on the clock for just under £14000 cash with the promise of 2 keys, yes I got 2 keys but only 1 was programmed to the car. After a struggle Arnold Clark decided they would reimburse me the £72 it cost to code the key at Audi Aberdeen. This is where the issues start, so I took the car to have the key coded at Audi Aberdeen who carried out a free mechanical inspection, an hour later I was given the bombshell news the car was not roadworthy!! The 2 rear coil springs had snapped, the whole braking system was faulty, the exhaust system was faulty and there was a split in 1 of the tyre's. Audi provided me a full inspection report and video of the technician at Audi pointing out the faults. Trying to get hold of anybody at the dealership was near impossible and when I did they advised me the 60 day warranty they supplied me did not cover the faults on the car. Absolutely appalling 'customer service'

Audi Q7 - looked great on videos they had made for us… On delivery, rubbish still in car. After a couple of days- polish started to dull revealing heavily scratched paintwork (videos described the body work as very good). When asked if we could do something about the scratches we was asked to get quote for getting the car detailed… quote came back in at £400 (and the detailer noticed poor recent paintwork job (orange peel like)) we was offered £100 towards this. I would strongly advise people to look elsewhere for a car. We would never buy from Arnold Clark again. They are rude, getting in touch with them was difficult even to buy the Audi. Getting in touch after even more so. Terrible service. If I could leave zero stars on some of the mandatory questions I would.

A salesman is not your friend and you should be suspicious, Be pernickety, take nothing for granted, Understand the process and ask questions. But they are just people, trying to match you up to a car you need. Kevin Clark did a good sales job, listened and found us the car we actually needed. We looked for a 3 year old Skoda Kodiaq, Kevin Clark found one and arranged a test drive but the seat comfort was poor in that spec. Kevin contacted us with a newly arrived 3 year car with leather - We test drove and much more comfortable. Car hadnt been totally waxed and cleaned but Kevin did warn us. We liked the car but found two exterior faults when I examined it - trim flapping on wheel arch and a tiny crack on lights. Kevin didn't hesitate to promise immediate repair prior to sale. Full front light module replaced and the trim redone. Also we couldnt get the hidden tow hook to swing out. But Kevin apologised and later solved this. Repairs took a few days. Sales by bank transfer, no issues. Have driven the car for 10 days, some long trips, no surprises. All good so far. Kevin was helpful, knowledgeable, polite.
