Arnold Clark only got one star because I could not give them less. my whole time has not been very enjoyable. they have made my mind up never to give them another penny. They have taken the money and run very quickly. there has been a fault on the car from day one. we bought the car in good faith. the car has been taken back in four times with the same problem. I have now been told by the general manager at Arnold Clark at Seafield in Edinburgh. they have cleaned the pads and changed the pads and discs. they also then put proper Peugeot parts on but they cant fix the squealing brakes He has asked me too take the car elsewhere so it can be fixed somewhere else. After a few phone calls with customer care I have been told that squealing brakes on a car still under warranty is not a fault. what a joke that is. the most annoying fault with Arnold Clark at Seafield Edinburgh is the senior bosses are in meetings all the time when you phone. by the way Arnold Clark I am a customer who has paid for my car. is this why you cant be bothered to try and fix my car. This is why one star is far to much. even after work has been carried out I have been told the car is fixed. The squealing noise is even worse now. The general manager says im the only person who can hear the noise. Beware off buying a car at Arnold Clark at seafield in edinburgh. ******Just noticed my last review has been deleted. very disappointed I thought if you put a true review on it would still be there to help potential buyers not to fall into the same trap I did. again value for money is a joke at seafield. they could not fix a fault on my Peugeot 208. I gave them every chance to fix the car and they let me down every time. the manager at seafield was very hard to deal with and was not very interested in fixing the problem. in the end he asked me to take the car somewhere else. this cost me to fix the car as it was out of warranty. least I know I kept my side of the bargain by paying for the car upfront. Arnold Clark cant say the same thing. I would have second thoughts about buying a car at seafield. as I reading all the reviews it is simple im not the only person to have a bad experience there. I also thought customer care were not very good and head office let me down********

Just to send a message to let Arnold Clark know my Peugeot 207 has been fixed. the car had been in to get fixed with the same problem since may last year. Arnold Clark had turned the car away as they told me they could not fix it. even after speaking to Peugeot customer in Glasgow I was told there was not a fault with the brakes. during the last year I never wanted to take the car anywhere else as it was under warranty. when the car was out of warranty I took the car to a proper garage. who found the fault on the brakes within two hours. the garage advised me the back brakes had never been looked at properly. there was original caps on the components around the back brakes. This again is a lesson of were you buy a car and also who do you trust. as I'M NOT A QUALIFIED MECHANIC I needed to trust what Arnold Clark told me. How I feel I've been told a pack of lies. Arnold Clark is a total lie.
Good experience over all, The car is great and has only had one small issue which was sorted quickly and easily however, they are rather had to get in contact with regarding any issues and actually make out that I could only have warranty repairs down at their branch but I contacted a more local one and they said i was fine to bring it to them. Other than that though I have no major issues. I would recommend them if you have good knowledge of car and know what you want but otherwise, not so much.

Arnold Clark Seafield Motorstore is a really good dealership! only a small issue with the finance but other than that can't fault them. The car is super good value and I've had no problems with it and I've had it since April. The guys were very helpful and I would suggest Arnold Clarke to anyone.

I had a good car buying experience with Arnold Clark, I part exchanged my old car for about what I was expecting and was amazed at how simple the process was, the sales team were pleasant and genuine people, they guided me through the rest of the sale, I got the car I wanted and it all went smoothly.

The customer service from Arnold Clark Edinburgh Seafield Motorstore wasn't bad but could have been better, the communication in particular could improve as I found myself chasing them up to find out when the car would be ready, otherwise I'm pleased with my purchase, I can't fault the product at all.

Everything was so quick, I knew what I wanted going in so I was a very easy sale for them, I was in and out in an hour and most of the sale was by phone but from what time I did spend there I can't fault them, seemed friendly as far as salesman go and I've not had any gripes with the car.

Arnold Clark Peugeot Seafield, Edinburgh. Based on aftersales experience I would steer clear of this dealership. I had a salesman call me a liar and shout at me down the phone. despite having evidence and witnesses that I had followed their instructions to have a repair done to my car under their 60 day warranty. It seemed once they had your money you were of no further consequence. Will NEVER give them my business again.
