I can not recommend Auto Channel enough. I recently brought a car from then and 2 weeks later the engine light came on. It transpired the catalytic converter needed to be re placed. This is not under warranty however without any expense to me they took the car had that and the exhaust replaced. They are totally honest professional and I would recommend them to everyone. Don't buy anywhere else!

Auto channel cars ace corner. Please trust me just stay well away. Read all the reviews, the cars are cheap because there mainly CATD. Really really bad traders. please don't get ripped off like I nearly did, well I lost my £100 deposit but luckily my finance was cancelled. I have pictures of the car I purchased. It's a joke compared to the advertised car on there website. Trading standards are all over them. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for leaving a review, reason why you were not happy is that semi automatic gearbox works different way from fully automatic, you told auto channel that gearbox is faulty , ok, we believed what you said and got car recovered from your home address to our garage(that costed us £250), next day we put car to gearbox engineers specialist who done full test on gearbox what costed us another £350(found no problem), after that personally my self driven car for 2 weeks , 50 miles a day and found no problems. Mr Lee, we have lost because of your change of mind £600 and you bombarding all possible review sites with your reviews.
Vender contradicted himself several times about details about the cars history. I Viewed car and was told it had been previously written off and been repaired in certain area. However the affected area showed clear evidence that it had never been repaired nor damaged. this suggests the repair was done to a different part of the car and his initial statement was to draw the eye away from too careful an inspection. Was allowed a test drive of less than half a mile. found evidence of possible other repair area so walked. His cars are cheap for a reason folks and from the evidence I read on the web countless people have had problems getting their warrantee honoured. Lots of little things didn't add up and I'm glad i walked away.

A similar thing happened to me recently. I saw an automatic Mini Cooper advertised online and was attracted by the low mileage and price. I rang and spoke to a salesman and asked a number of questions about the Cat D classification and was informed they have all the relevant papers/documents relating to the accident etc. He told me they repaired the car as well and all the relevant paperwork was with them. I went to view the car with my daughter and asked to see the papers the salesman told me the boss had locked them in the safe etc but that he would provide it all to the AA Engineer when he comes to inspect it. He alps told me that it the report comes back negative my deposit would be refunded. The AA Engineer went and was not given any of the paperwork the salesman told me. In fact the AA Engineer found out the accident had happened to another part of the car and he was concerned that the car might have been damaged in two areas both driver and passenger side. As a result, the report was not conclusive about whether I should proceed with buying the car. They basically did not have any documentation for the car apart from the MOT Auto Channel carried out itself. Now to get my deposit back has been an ordeal with the salesman telling me all sorts of lies about my money should be in my bank account by a certain date. Today I finally spoke to a guy called Rivas and he's saying that I can't have my money back because it seems like I only changed my mind. I asked him about the paperwork for the Mini and he goes what did Gary the salesman tell you trying to deflect from the issue at hand. They have now moved to Rainham Essex. My advice is avoid Auto Channels at all cost. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards and will issue a small claims against them.
Car was as described, valeted and ready to drive away. Deal concluded very professionally. Travelled 350 miles for car and it was worth the journey.
I would be very wary of using this company. We arranged a test drive and a subsequent purchase and over the two visits were kept waiting for ages each time; the car was dirty and had a flat battery; they forgot to send us bank details to pay the deposit (thankfully!); didn't have answers to our questions; and the final straw was that they 'misplaced' the service history but that someone would email it to us after purchase... Despite having already invested a fair amount of time in trying to buy this car, we decided we'd had a narrow escape and left without it.
