After a car was bought via an ad in auto trader magazine, the vehicle had a catalogue of faults resulting in the engine ceasing altogether. After a protracted battle to get the vehicle fixed by the dealer Sotos Savvides, the Financial Ombudsman concluded that the vehicle was never fit for purpose and ordered the finance agreement to be unwound as a result. This is not a garage or showroom as the ads had suggested; the operation is a residential address. There was no positive experience at Automotive Bargains to report, only to ensure future customers take full precautions!

I bought the most beautiful Mercedes CLS today from Automotive Bargains and I had to make trips getting on for 1000 miles to do so. I have now driven it home to Scotland, some 330 miles, and am very pleased. Sotos picked me up at the rail station the first time I arrived to look at the car and took me back to catch an earlier train. And he was as helpful today. He is a busy man working on tight margins to give the customer a good deal and I think he manages that admirably. You will be treated like a human being here. If there's a car you fancy you will get a deal. Highly recommended and it appears to be the cliche that applies here of it "does exactly as it says on the tin". Well done.

I recently bought a class Mercedes from Automotive Bargains which was not just the cheapest on the net i found but was exactly in the condition described in their advert IMMACULATE.I can only say i got Rolls Royce services for a Mercedes .Would definitely recommend this company and buy again. Visited their "showroom", in fact the front garden of a private house, to see a Corsa they advertised on their website which wasn't there and neither was there anybody in when I pressed the doorbell. There was a flashy car with personalised number plates, a couple of other cars and a Chrysler covered in leaves and flat tyres. The fact that they lie about having a showroom doesn't bear well with their reliability as a dealership and wouldn't recommend anybody buy a car from Automotive Bargains.

To be honest I guess it's my fault I didn't check the car as thoroughly as I should have. The car had an issue where it died randomly and he forgot the mention that. Luckily for me it turned out a cheap fix. He assured me that I had 12 months MOT but I've just discovered it's due next month!!! Had I not checked id have been driving illegally and could have suffered a fine. The cars worth £2000 and he charged me £2790. "Sold as seen" should've known.
