Hi Louise, sorry to hear you have had a bad experience whilst using us at Automotivecars. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. You initially left us fantastic feedback for the service you received. Unfortunately, your car developed an issue shortly after you purchased it. There had been a problem with the steering rack. We offered to fix it right away. For your own convenience you wanted to take it to your chosen repairer to be fixed. This is not what we wanted to do, but we try help out where we can. Sadly you had shocking service and a job which should have been turned around in 2 days took weeks. It was also your choice to have a reconditioned part fit, as the bill was as expensive as a new one! We still paid the entire bill once it was ready. We can’t be held accountable for the poor service you received at another garage. Your car developed a further fault some time afterwards. Again, you took it to the garage you had received poor service from the previous time, so on this occasion we said it would be best to recover the vehicle back to us to ensure the vehicle was repaired correctly and in a timely manner. At this time, we were under a national lockdown due to Covid-19. You stated that you were abroad and would be for 3 months. We were not doing any unnecessary travel, and I also didn’t want to put any of our staff at risk at that present time. So, we had agreed we would collect the car from your barracks at a later date as it wouldn’t be in use for some time. We purchased specific tooling to do the job in preparation for its return. In the meantime, you decided to get it repaired without any consultation with ourselves. And presented us with an astronomical bill for the work that was carried out. We always do our best to get warranty repairs done as quick and as convenient as possible. Unfortunately, you were unwilling to discuss and work with us in doing so. I did try to ring you numerous times to come to an amicable solution but got no reply.

Just a update on the previous review I made, the issues have now been resolved and Graham has paid for the parts what were making the knocking noise only. He did explain that he had been in hospital having a operation which he did mention when buying the vehicle. The car is now perfect and I am very happy with it. Please ignore my previous review as it was a misunderstanding and go and buy that car that you have seen. Graham is a good salesman not pushy at all and will let you have a long test drive and gives good p/x prices compared to others. I have emailed this review site to see if they will remove my review but have had no contact from them, so thought it best to explain the situation.
