Hi Chris, Thank you for the review, much appreciated. Unlike some others, I don't pay a third party to fish for reviews which makes my reviews on this site not only welcome but heartfelt (good or bad!).
My son wanted to buy a particular car - an Audi A4 Avant petrol - which is quite difficult to find at the right price, and Andy had exactly what he wanted. The car was as described, we agreed a price and we drove it away there and then. Subsequently there was a small issue which couldn't have been known about in advance. Many other dealers would have told us to take a hike, but Andy very kindly agreed to meet the cost.

I have bought 2 cars from Andy at AWF Car Sales over the years and both cars have been in my opinion well worth the money. I only need a run around car and I’m always realistic with my expectations of how much money I’m spending out. I have never had to spend out more than the normal expected servicing and maintenance costs associated with owning a second hand car. I have and will always recommend AWF Car Sales to my friends and family, just because Andy is an honest, professional and pleasant person to deal with.

Bought a car off this place. He assured the car was in a perfect condition. 1 month into ownership I’ve paid over £1600 for repairs for a car worth 2000. Wouldn’t use this man.

I have no idea who this is. I would expect anyone who has a problem with a car they buy from me to let me know and ask me to fix it. It's happened many times over the last 14 years and it's the reason why most people choose to buy from a dealer. Dealing in cars at the more cheaper end of the market as I tend to, problems do arise from time to time - it's inevitable. But I always assist, always have done, over and above my legal obligation to do so. As I say, I do not know who this anonymous person is, or even if they are actually my customer - if so, where was the call?
From beginning to end, Andy was professional, quick to respond to any and all of my enquires and questions and very easy to talk with. I went to view the car which I have now brought from Andy, where he was friendly and honest. There was a minor problem with one of the boot seals, that Andy confirmed he would fix before the purchase of the car, Upon arrival to pick up the car, Andy showed me photos and videos of the fix that had been made along with a full explanation of what had been done; extending the offer that if the seal went again I could contact him. I would feel at ease purchasing another car from Andy, knowing I was dealing with a smooth and painless transaction.

Recently purchased a vehicle from AWF Car Sales and the salesman couldn't have been more helpful, all my questions and enquiries were answered and I received an excellent service. No issues with the vehicle after 3 weeks and I felt I paid a fair price for it.

I brought a car recently from this person and after 24 hours the car had the engine light come on , they asked me to take to a garage and they wouldn't believe the garage so did a cheap fix themselves, a month later it happend again so I took back to the garage where they told me the issues and said the exhaust system was installed by a cowboy, the sensors were in with plumbing pipe and exhaust fixed directly to the cat, it was less than a thousand pound to fix, this person again refused to fix and gave me my.money back in full, one day later the car is back for sale, stay clear for.your own good.

Wow, 13 years and never a bad review. I am sorry you feel this way as stated at the end of our 42 emails! I visited this customer twice at his house because he refused to come to me / never spoke to me either, just indignant emails. The quote from his garage was ridiculous and I offered to fix it here with me, he chose to take a full refund including his diagnostic costs instead. I genuinely could not have done more for this customer. I hope he buys his next car from someone else just as understanding, there aren't many of us around.
