My husband paid a £200 deposit over the phone that we were due to collect that week. 2 days later my father called to say he had decided to give up driving. He said we could have his car for free save using all our savings. My husband called David to let him know we would no longer be purchasing the car. He said he had it serviced. Which I'm sure a garage should do for every vehicle anyway. Then he said he was busy and he would call back. He never called back my husband called numerous times. He left answering machine messages. He sent a WhatsApp message that was definitely read too. So he kept our £200 for nothing. My husband is hard working. I am disabled and can not work. £200 is a lot of money to us. Probably nothing to a car sales man. Take note of the bad reviews. This man is not a nice person.

I recently purchased an Audi A6 from David at Barnyard cars via eBay motors. Very positive experience - David is a genuine, honest guy. Great communication to my questions, delivered on the promises he made and the car was better than described. Nice and easy collection and good aftercare. Very happy to recommend David and would use him in future.

Not sure what is cars are like but I found him unreliable. I sent him details of my car asking for a part exchange price, with photos. After 2 days I decided to ring him. He said he would get back to me with a price. Still not heard anything back after 10 days. I have now found a similar, same model car. Would never go back to him. Re Nissan xtrail.

Thank you so much for your enlightening review , and bearing in mind that as I explained to yourself I had several people after That particular car as a cash purchasers at the same time ( a very nice lady from Devon left a deposit and so the vehicle was taken of sale, and collected 3 days later , and she was very happy with it, lovely to meet you Louise ). I am glad you found a vehicle to suit , and by no means are you leaving a questionable review in ............ but you never visited the premises and you did not purchase a car either. I have around 30 vehicles and during this covid period and I'm working hard to do everything myself too stay safe for us all. If someone leaves a deposit on a car or if we are " miles away on a part exchange price or generally a undesirable car" and I take It off sale , then unfortunately people may be disappointed . Recently met David at Barnyard cars to view a Skoda Superb estate , was allowed a good look round the car and a test drive with no pressure was shown all of the paperwork and then decided to buy the car. David was very professional polite and patient and made the purchase completely stress free. Would recommend Barnyard whole heartedly . Lovely surroundings as well.

We bought a VW Passat Estate a couple of weeks ago for my partner and we are very pleased with the car and service from David. I have to concur with the reviews about Barnyard cars I have read in the past. After 2 months, I am very happy with the car I have bought and David was a gentleman, as other reviews have said, However, I have also found it true that he is rather poor at returning phone calls. There was a mix up with the DVLA forms regarding a car I gave David for scrap. I have had no success contacting him to try and sort it out and he has not got back to me. I would be reluctant to buy from David again in the future as I wonder how good he would be at getting back to me if there was a problem with a car whilst it was under warranty. Would go elsewhere if I could.

Hi, just to clarify the points you have made, Thank you , it was a great car you purchased and I am pleased you are very happy with it . And the DVLA sorted out " there " problem with your old cars paperwork relatively quickly. But you obviously didn't remember our conversation about us going to our famillys house in france for 3 weeks.......as we were not able to go over at Christmas due to illness And as I do not advertise the fact that I am away, ( for security reasons ) !! as you would well appreciate I am glad everything is all well and your enjoying your new car All the best Regards David
