I am a 74 almost 75 female pensioner, bought a Hyundai car from these rogues in mid October the day after car would not start, paid £5.000 plus trade in thinking it would be the last car I would purchase, phoned them that day, because of co vid restrictions had to have a local mechanic come and help me. Discovered later that week righthandside headlamp was out had that repaired, next passenger window was not working. Now the car has been of the road for six weeks, cutting out while turning corners or at traffic lights facing a bill for over a £1.000 to have a timing change correction. This car was mot by this company, how it could have passed I will leave to your imagination I am now in touch with fair trading standards, and n xt I will be in touch with Judge Rinder, at no time has there been any offer of any help. I will not walk away from this without a fight. Stay as far away from this lot as you can. Margaret Abrams. 👿👿👿👿👿
Customer service zero, series attitude, don't like to be told there job!! Home truth's make them look stupid, obviously took offence,...not the brightest
Taken my time to add this but here it is. There is no were better to go for your next car, the staff are great especially Jim who works tirelessly to get you the best deal & the right car for your needs. I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Belmont Autos now & I love my Meriva
STAY AWAY FROM THESE. WOULD RATHER THROW MY MONEY AWAY THAN GIVE TO THESE PEOPLE. COULD GET A BETTER CAR OUT THE SCRAP YARD THAN ON BELMONTS AUTOS FORECOURT !! DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT COMES OUT THEIR MOUTHS !
Bought a BMW from Belmont Autos for export. They put it through quality control and delayed us for a month after receiving payment to ship the car. Once the car arrived at the port it was inspected by a mechanic without moving it and needed 2000 Euros, clutch, clutch pump and fly wheel repairs. Contacted dealer but refused to cooperate with us. Avoid them at any cost. There are plenty other better dealers to buy a car from.
Be very careful if you are buying car from Belmont Autos.. within days of purchasing Honda Civic type r . Brake pad on passenger side grinding and radiator leaking phoned them ,was told brake probly because it not been used for a while.told him it sounded real bad.. anyway ,took car back on Wednesday 11a.m hopeful i could maybe get it back on same day, ha! On the Monday I go to pick it up. Tells me new radiator fitted . Doesn't mention every screw on plastic cover under bonnet is missing and part just sat in place. Also screw driver in engine bay, when I ask about noisy brake pad he says probly coz it sitting for a while .ffs. I actually asked him to come out to car and listen to noise,, his reply was keep using it and if it still same after Christmas holidays he will fit new brakes all round,, outstanding service eh. next day removed wheel and pads were wore down completely,, changed them myself.. this was just the beginning of the problems ...to be continued.....

Dear Chris, I have checked our records and we have not sold a Honda Civic Type R in over a year. You have either mistaken us for another garage you purchased from, or this is a false review!! Could you clarify your position within 7 days? We take our customer service seriously and would like to know more about your complaint. Regards, Angela.

Have you still got the said vehicle, if yes can't be that bad of a dealer, they have been there for years .
I had the joy of picking up my new car from Belmont Autos, the staff went out their way to ensure i had a quick and easy delivery of my new Audi. Would highly recommend to anyone to deal with as the salesman Eddie made the whole journey from start to finish very easy to understand.

Mark, Thanks for your much valued custom and for taking the time to review our business. We hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Best regards Marc & Eddie
Bought a car from Belmont, the day after the warranty finished developed a serious fault. Called them to be told nothing they could do as the warranty has ran out. After mentioning Trading Standards I was told to bring the car in it would be £45 just to look at it. As the car is not drivable I would have to get a towtruck to take it up there. Which I couldn't afford. After the treatment I've received wouldn't trust them now anyway. Taken to another garage, seriously out if pocket. Expensive lesson learned
Marc from Belmont Autos in response to Awful
Hi Trudy, Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I would however, like to point out that when you phoned to notify my colleague Eddie that you had a problem with the car, after your warranty had run out, you informed Eddie that you had been driving the car for a month previously with the EML fault light on. It would have been far easier if you had informed us whilst your warranty was still valid. Furthermore, Belmont Autos provided you with a free 12 months RAC recovery plan and you were informed that the car could be transported free of charge to our repairng garage. We were happy to try and assist with the fault, however, there would have been a charge of upto £45 to diagnose the fault. We are here to help, however we can only do so if you are willing to bring the car back to us, unfortunately you chose another option. I'm sorry that there hasnt been a better outcome, however, if we can assist you in the future do not hesitate to contact us. regards Marc
Quoted £25-100, charged £240 - for a teeny car park ding. Would've been cheaper getting the lease company to fix but once they have your car you're screwed. Even had the nerve to say it cost more because HIS bodywork guy made a mistake. Furthermore they did some insurance work at the same time and issued two different invoices of different amounts, causing all sorts of issues with my insurer who is now investigating potential fraud. Finally the car wasn't repaired properly and it took another visit after having all of the sensors go off while driving. I have the receipts thankfully since the garage are claiming it wasnt them! Seriously.
Bought my insignia from here from Murray service was fantastic but warranty had ran out less than a week got a problem with my car and gave the garage a call to see if they would Help me and basically got told well your warranty is finished and we can't do anything shocking
