Friday 3/9/21 pm purchased Audi q5 Saturday 4/9/21complained about whining/rumbling from O/S/F, after three calls latter i was told to phone back Monday. Monday 6/9/21 told to book car into Halfords garage. Monday 13/9/21 earliest appointment at Halfords they inform Me that the noise is inside the automatic gearbox and they are unable to do ,car mileage35k. Monday 13/9/21 11.15 hours phoned warranty team at big motoring world transferred to Warranty 2000 ( a different company) I spoke to Bilal I explained the problem he then tried to make the car issue my problem, do I no a garage that will do it for there labour rate? I said Audi is in Ashford or Canterbury I could take it to them, No there labour rate is to much or I can pay one hours bill to diagnose the problem and claim the money back or pay the difference in Audi labour rate and there allowed labour rate. Mr Bilal tried to find a cheap rate garage to do the work 18 minutes latter He will phone me back with a garage to pick the car up and do the work ,three hours latter i phone warranty 2000 back, I was told he was busy but told to hang on 15 minutes latter Sam Davis the manager says can I help ,I said I was hanging on for Mr Bilal as he said he would phone back with a garage. We are busy I said so am I, Mr S Davis said Mr Bilal will phone today. be aware big motoring world sell it seems Lease cars ? these cars would be sold cheaper by car dealers as they tend not to be cared for as much as private cars. big motoring world said they service the car if needed but it is not serviced to the car manufacturers service requirements ie automatic oil not changed ,cheap engine oil, car run out of adblue at big motoring gate, car serviced the week before. this is a stressful experience and is not resolved. do not be sucked in by the price.

So did I. I just bought an Audi A6 from big motoring world just month ago and noticed some mechanical faults outright after purchase. Despite several email correspondence and fone conversation they have not practically done anything to repair. They also refused Audi diagnostic centre report of issues. So Im definitely going to refuse and return this back and claim refund ASAP under right to reject under the Consumer Rights Act if the car is unfit for purpose, of unsatisfactory quality or not as described. You can ask for a repair or replacement, but you're not obliged to accept one and can insist on a full refund, which the dealer will be legally obliged to give.

Terrible and must be avoided by all. Cars feel very dodgy. They do not give a care about customers after the sale. We bought a car last year; apparently had only 27k mileage with 4 previous owners; then problem after problem ( massive engine fault, break pads, oil leak, suspension MOT failure) and it has not been even one year. Post sales service is utter toilet. It’s a facade. Stay away. Feel like throwing the car in the dumps

I travelled 1 and a half hours round-trip to view some cars with my family, only to be refused entry! Rude receptionist told me I needed to book prior to visiting, yet is doesn't state anywhere on their website that this is the case. Spoken 2 people and confirmed that it isn't on their website and was told that's just the way it is. It's just an awful sales technique to ensure ethat you are sat with a salesman. If covid was a concern then free browsing of vehicles is much safe than sitting in a crowded showroom. Just a ridiculous experience. Asked for compensation of my time, fuel and ware and tear of my car and was just battered off. I wou,d have happily booked if I knew I had to do this, I was told that this procedure had been in place for over a year so they had plenty of time to put this on their website. Terrible service. Will never buy a car from them again!
I went today to buy a car for my daughter. The prices looked reasonable and just wanted a basic car. Found out they charge you £200 over the listed price as an "arrangement fee" so the listings aren't as competitive as you might think. I got over that though. My main beef is they will not sell you the car in any reasonable timeframe without extras. I spent an hour there, listening to their pitch for GardX paint protector (they have a demo area with real shower exhibit), extra warranty (for 1,2 or 3 years according to paperwork), bodywork protection (video to watch), gap insurance (calculations worked out for you) and of course many finance options and a chat with an FCA registered advisor. Because I just wanted to buy the basic car, even after 90 minutes of hard sell, the manager came over to have another go at upselling. I told him I would leave unless he let me just buy the car but he still persisted in trying to sell more stuff I didn't want. 2 hours lost and left without being allowed to buy the car! It's like the worst timeshare hard sell. Please avoid and use an honest local dealer like I will be tomorrow.
