Purchased my VW Passat 4 weeks agofrom Blackbirds Crossroads & have waited to see if any problems arouse. Car has performed really well, better than expected. I saw the car advertised and after phoning was told that it was at their storage unit. As l am 30 miles away made an appointment to view. Arriving the car was there and their salesman Jack took me on a test run. I had a car to trade in and we came to a deal both parties was happy with. Overall a good experience.

I saw a car on the Blackbird Crossroads Motors website and I called them scheduling a visit. The attend Jack ask me to make a £50 reserve fee which he assured was refunded for any reason. He took my debit card details and made the debit. I was visiting them and the car wasn't what I was expecting, so I asked to be refunded. They said 48hs it would be done. After 2 days, no refund. I called them and asked more 2 days, because they have to talk with their accountant. 2 days later, no refund. It seems they will not refund at all! I will have to go to small claims. Runway from them! £50! I will sue them for moral damages as well. It is robbery. It will be more than £50. Be sure.

The car I bought from Blackbird Crossroads Motors was a better car than I expected for the money I spent. The salesmen were relaxed and never pressed for the sale, the issues I had was with their aftercare. Firstly I picked up the car 11 months to the day and 15000 miles since it's last service and this wasn't picked on the PDI, then a couple of tyres that were down to the wear indicators, their attitude was the car was sold with tyres of legal tread, so was pushed into if I want new tyres then I have to buy them myself, so after doing so I found that one of the wheels had a crack in it, as I thought it was a puncture, hence why I wanted the tyres changed. I then asked if I could have a full service as they let the car off the forecourt knowing that the oil needed changing, as the car told me everytime I started it. The courtesy car they gave me was a car they had taken in part exchange, it had rubbish in it, the heater didn't work so found it difficult to see on first starting it and they never completed all the work I requested to be done and to add insult to injury, I had some money taken out of the car that was hidden and I never thought anyone would steal out of my car. When confronting the salesmen on this, they said they welcomed me to call the police but they said it was my word against their mechanics, as obviously the guilty person would of course deny it. Felt it better to cut my losses and walk away and I'm not even a month into my warranty.
