Our BMW purchased in the past from Eastern Motors has developed a flat tyre. We arranged for to have the defective tyre replaced and as the MOT is due in a month to have it done as well. We arrived at Eastern Motors requested time of 08:00hrs to drop off the car and proceed to a nice day at the Norton Hotel Spa as the estimated time of finishing the tyre and MOT was given at 18:00hrs. We returned at 17:00hrs to the garage to find the MOT still not finished! The MOT was finished at 18:00 at what transpires was the Toyota garage across the road, having paid for a BMW trained mechanic to deal with our car this was not exactly what was expected. It then transpires that the defective tyre was not changed as it seems they ran out of time and had no tyre fitters still at work at that time it then appears there was the first checks as to wither they actually had a tyre. In this time period of ten hours I fail to understand how our requested items could not be carried out having been pre-explained over the phone during the pre-booking. We now have the situation of sorting out the defective tyre at what is now an extreme inconvenience. Find planning and organising of car maintenance a time consuming disorganised chaotic mess and clearly un-reliable at Eastern Motors.
