This is my 3rd service here and the last two times they couldn't even find my booking ? Then... Tried to book my car in for a service with Hyundai online which cost £232 couldn't get a date before mid july so called direct, booked an earlier date but price now over £40 more ? To dispose of the oil ? Not happy and settled on £240 after a discussion. Car collected on day of service by a nice chap, had a call to say they recommended a few things doing (mainly the tyres) which I was told were legal but close to the line.. Obviously not wanting to pay double the going rate I declined so I could shop around, then a call from the service manager to say he didn't want his driver in the car as unsafe and that they were now illegal ? He told me I had to collect it, so my neighbour drives me up there and the cars outside the branch, unwashed and no paperwork ready, valet was on lunch so didn't get it cleaned and the paperwork not ready but now says tyres illegal ? Service manager is arrogant and rude and refuses to take it off the service as its apparently free ? Emails me to say book valet in another day later. Customer services here are really non existent...You have been warned.
On monday 10th May I rang to book my car in for an MOT, thinking it was later in the month. I am a key worker and like everyone in that industry incredibly busy over the last few months. I got a shock, MOT run out by the next day, I am a community worker so my car is vital. Anne, sorry hope I have spelt it right, said give me a minute, came back and asked me to bring the car in that day at 1.30pm to do the MOT. Amazing!!! Picked it up at 4.30pm, all done and problem solved. I can not thank Brooklyn enough for a speedy resolve and no headache with full working days that followed. Lovely to see Paul, Service Manager, who is always polite, pleasant and proffessional. Thank you so much, as always excellent service with no drama.

Called today needing help from the service department at Brooklyn Hyundai. Got immediate attention and they went far beyond what I expected and have previously received from other dealerships. Very well done!
Took my car in for a new cluch got the car back filthy dirty and now vibrates at 40 mph
The tyre pressure light on the dash had been on on my wife's car for a while even though we new the tyre pressure was correct. We booked it in at Brooklyn Hyundai for it's usual service and MOT which already cost £400 and asked them to check the fault assuming it would just need resetting. They called my wife during the day to say the sensor had been damaged and needed replacing at a cost of £153. They made it clear that it would fail the MOT if it was not done immediately and did not give us the option of taking it elsewhere to get a more competitive quote. My wife felt pressured to get it done so paid the £153. They would not put the work through under warranty or admit any liability for damaging the sensor which could only have been done either by them previously in a previous service or when they had it in under warranty for a repair to the alloy wheels. The only other place the car had been was to kwik-fit a year earlier for a new tyre. When my wife brought the damaged part home, a quick google search revealed the genuine hyundai part can be bought online for around £20. They had charged £120 plus fitting. Every attempt to reason with them afterwards by phone and email was met with a complete disregard of customer satisfaction. Eventually they offered a measly £25 refund against this huge overcharge on a total bill of £553. Kwik-fit however immediately offered £100 despite no evidence that they were the ones to damage the sensor a year earlier and confirmed that if we had paid them to replace the sensor they would only have charged £79.99. In short if you want to be over charged for parts by a factor of 6 and receive poor customer service feel free to use Brooklyn Hyundai. If not, look elsewhere.

Today I purchased a gorgeous car from Brooklyn Motors after a bad experience from a private seller. Paul was charming without being pushy and very transparent in explaining the financial breakdown of costs. I left feeling elated and can't wait to collect my car next week.
