Recently bought a car from Buckinghams. Dealt with Russell who was very helpful. Overall, a very good experience. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.
DO NOT USE BUCKINGHAM OF GUILFORD. If you have an issue and return the car their policy is to withhold payment for 14 days after receipt of the car and it's legal. Customer service is poor to say the least. The car was not as described (missing features) and now 3 weeks down the line still waiting on a new rear window. They even suggested I claim on my insurance for a new window!!! Is that actual legal? After nearly 4 weeks and no fix I returned the car for a full refund and that's when I found out they will hang on to your money for as long as they can.

Hi Richard Our returns policy is we cannot refund a vehicle until we have received all the paperwork and documents issues, if there is a delay in returning them to us this will cause a delay in your money being refunded. We do apologize that we did advertise the car with a feature that it did not have, as auto trader auto fills the selections and on a 11 year old ford transit it couldn't be that accurate. Unfortunately the rear headed windscreen did stop working and was taking a while to source, the option of claiming under insurance if you had it is also legal. Thanks
