fantastically helpful company, sent me lots of information and pictures i had specifically requested. rang and got everything i wanted to know. also got a finance quote on the phone to make sure i knew it was worth the 3 hour trip down from scotland. everything was fine and they held the car for me after i booked my train and even picked me up from the station in the car so i could test drive it back to their site - KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE!! got back and within 30 minutes my finance was sorted and i was driving away. lovely drive back home and the car never missed a beat. about 3 weeks later i did have a slight issue with the alternator, but with the extended warranty i rang them and it was sorted in a garage near me and it DIDNT COSt ME A PENNY. superb service again even weeks after buyinG! will certainly look here first when i ned another vehicle. thanks again

After my step daughter bought a car from Car & Caravan Co in Brigg she has had no end of issues and awful follow up service. She has complained about all issues and they have tried to sort them but not done jobs properly. Now they say it needs a new engine!!!!! The car has only got 17,000 miles on the clock and they now are washing their hands of her issues. Disgusting service and after sales service. Wouldn’t touch them with your barge pole let alone mine. Stay well clear of them and go to Arthur Daley. He is more decent than these people.

What rubbish you didn’t mention that the car had done 10000 miles since purchase and had been at another garage and had work done to it and then the fault developed they didn’t want to know then you came back to car and caravan after 6 months 10000 miles later Then we fixed one of the problems free of charge no cost to your step daughter Why did you not mention this is your review Again we are not perfect but we will try our best to help anyone with problems but when another garage has been involved and caused problems what can we do

This sounds like utter nonsense to me, my car needed a new turbo after 6 months and because I bought the extended warranty they had it done for me in Les than 3 days AT NO COST TO ME! And mileage is irrelevant, any car that’s not looked after can go wrong
Had fantastic service from salesman Neil at Car and Caravan Co , he was very polite and couldn’t do enough to help ,I have had a few issues with my van since I bought the van and i got in touch with Neil straight away he said leave it with him and he rang me back straight away to rectify the problem he booked it in with Wilson and co days later the problem was sorted out but a week later had another issue so I rang Neil back he was only happy to help again.i cannot be happier with the service from Neil and would defiantly go back for another van in future thanks lee

Was intrested in a Mercedes 350 eclass in silver for sake at Car & Caravan Co in Brigg, Looked a ok car on web site, Talked to Aiden a few times, as I was around 180miles away I wanted a honest report on the car, As I didn't want a wasted journey, Questions asked were, Has car had any repairs or paintwork ? Reply, No a couple of chips on bumper, other than that its all good, Has car got a tow bar ? No it hasn't was the reply, So satisfied by Aiden that all is good, I decided to make the journey to buy the car, Simon picked me up from the station in the Mercedes I had travelled to buy, Instantly I could see front panel misaligned and front bumper a different colour, On arrival at car site, on further inspection, Nearside rear door and quarter panel repaired and painted Badly ! On inspecting the car further, Yes it had a tow bar which I was assured it didn't, Then a front offside tyre had steal cords showing through holes in the tread, With a fresh mot test on the car ! If I had bought the car I couldn't drive it for fear of tyre blowing out on motorway, Very poor duty of care to customers. Back on train home, Complete waste of time, Completely mislead. Lack of responsabilty.

It's a shame you have written this review about your experience. We will certainly admit our mistake in relation to the towbar, but it was a detachable one which could not be seen unless underneath the vehicle. However, your comments in relation to the front panel misalignment are simply untrue, and the vehicle is a pearl silver with heavy blue flake, so of course the colours will look different in different lights. You also fail to mention that you said if you had a £200 discount you would take the car as it is. It appears you simply tried to pull the vehicle apart for discount, and when you didn't get it you complained. This was after you had said on the phone that you would bid, and we told you not to travel up if you thought you could get a discount, but you still insisted on coming. The vehicle was MOT'd and prepped and ready to drive away. Hopefully you found yourself the right vehicle elsewhere and got the discount you wanted. But you came all the way from Essex to us so you were fully aware ours was a great price that would struggle to be beaten, and this is because we research our prices daily on a national scale.
Bought myself a new vehicle from Car & Caravan Co in Brigg recently. They gave me the keys & off I went for a test drive - this wasn’t a problem for them & I was back sooner than they expected! Said yes & when I came to collect the vehicle was spotless inside & out - staff had obviously taken their time to ensure it was immaculate! Amiable staff who couldn’t be faulted answering my countless questions quickly & easily - all in all a very easy transaction can’t fault them at all!

Car and Caravan Co in Brigg are amazing until you have problems with the car, the warranty isn’t worth the paper it is written on and nobody will help you. Money grabbers and life ruiners. AVOID

You've said they're amazing, left 1 star on everything, and explained nothing. What a ridiculous review. I had my car from here a month and had an issue with the battery, I live down in Sussex and within an hour of me calling they had arranged for a local parts supplier and garage to have a new battery and alternator fitted at no cost to me. Cannot fault them at all. Well worth the long trip up.
Coming from Scotland [a 500 mile round trip] I was amazed at being able to drive in with a trade in vehicle and drive out with a new car in a couple of hours. This does not happen North of the border. The norm is you do the deal and collect your car a few days later after it has been through the workshop. These cars at Car & Caravan Co Brigg are already checked and ready to go. Reading other reviews some of them look like people expect to buy a new car at second hand prices. My purchase [a Mercedes ML] was very competitively priced and although it will need a full set of tyres very soon it was priced accordingly. With regards to the sales team they were by no means pushy and did not force any sale on me. I went in to look at a specific car with my eyes open. Two hours later I drove out with that car [complete with a 6 month warranty that I asked for and was not forced on me] and drove it 250 miles home. Having my own business and knowing the difficulties involved with that my opinion of Car & Caravan Co. is they are a very efficient and professionally run business and would have no hesitation in recommending them and even making the round trip to buy from them again should the need arise.

The car I was interested in at Car and Caravan Co looked and sounded good in the advert for their site. On closer inspection the front tyres were aged and degrading on the tyre walls, basically unsafe. Looked like they had been swapped from the back which had new tyres fitted. How it passed its last MOT has to be questioned. So I would have to question the safety of the cars they sell and what checks they carry out. The car was tidy enough but would have expected the valeting to have been better for the interior and exterior although the engine bay was very good. They were busy on the day I went but they did not offer any assistance at all other than to tell me its at the far end of the lot. They are just another 2nd hand car dealer and really have no interest in what they are selling and have to agree with other peoples views in that they really do not know what the condition is of the cars they are selling and probably do very little checks and servicing to them. If the car has a problem then that is up to you to fix it once you have bought it and would imagine they would be more than happy for you to purchase a warranty as it absolves them of anything. The warranties are not there to protect you and are difficult to claim against particularly with the age of the vehicles they sell. Buying from an independent seller you are always taking a bigger risk than from a main dealer, although the latter does not mean you are guaranteed a good deal. best to get any vehicle independently checked. lastly I would not recommend this seller, as I previously stated, just another 2nd hand car dealer

I don’t understand if you have bought from this garage or not you seem to know a lot about the warranties so if not and you haven’t left your name your review sounds like you review lots of other car dealers in the same way this review is total garbage So Another Complete Waste Of Time Review I have bought a car from this garage in fact l was recommended by a friend and actually enjoyed the experience I think going to a main dealer experience is shocking l was there 4 hours still no price for my car then offered a finance package which l would have been paying nearly double the price for the car which is absurd this day and age with quotes available on the internet
