Brought car 8k no v5 parts promised be sent can't even get a parcel shelf 1st 2nd wrong then said won't send both were2 hand told me spent 100s on them then dpf went in s 30 days would not refund .
Spent £13000 on honda crv.supposed to had pdi and service. Battery was faulty,all tyre pressures were low,coolant needed 2 litres and washer bottle was just about empty! Makes you think did they change the oil? Who did it John Wayne and Roy Rodgers!
Thank you to Ashley for following up the missing car mats in my daughters car which we purchased recently from Car World. They arrived with Car World on Monday and were posted first class/signed for and arrived promptly the next day. Very pleased.
Promises made at purchase by salesman, not made. The blame is entirely with the service department and their shoddy work. Car minus locking wheel nut on collection, had to return few days later for replacement. Paid for full service, but the service dept put the wrong oil filter on. Lost all oil on way to work. Could have been catastrophic had I been on the A1. RAC recovered and fixed. Car World re-imbursed me for the filter, but not for the extra £40+ I paid the RAC for recovery (RAC breakdown included in my purchase did not cover the recovery). The RAC man told me I had an damaged tyre. Returned to Car World, they replaced the tyre. But they MOT'd the car so not sure how it passed?? Was promised top up of fuel which they failed to do. Car was smelly upon test drive, this I was promised, would be sorted. It wasn't. A cursory seat steam clean only as seats were damp on collection. I have had to clean the entire car SEVERAL times to remove the smell. It was filthy, especially the carpets. The rear boot was leaking, was promised this would be fixed. They had 2 attempts, told it was fixed but it wasn't. I eventually did that myself during lockdown. I have since been told that the car has daytime running lights..They have not worked since I got the car..An MOT failure I am told?? Got the car for what I thought was a good price. However, I would pay more next time for a better experience. Sorry Car World, your service dept lets you down.
Bought an Audi A4 estate last week and couldn’t be more happier with my purchase. We had an old rusty Renault which carworld happily took in as px. The car we bought was checked over valeted and we got a 12 month breakdown cover for free. Will definitely be back. Thanks car world team
I paid a holding fee on a car and travelled just over 100 miles therefore arrived an hour early than originally planned. Interrupted the salesman cigarette break, who clearly was not a professional Person due to him voicing his personal opinions continuous especially directed at the younger generation who he believes are unreliable due to the likes of him having to carry them. We were kept waiting while he attended to other customers and disappeared for further cigarette breaks and trying to cover up the smell with a spray what made it much worse. He could not answer my questions in relation to the car and when I challenged he became defensive and rude in his manner arguing me at one point. He would not negotiate the price, I was told that car prices are increasing as from next week and that this car would be increased by at least £500, even though I paid cash in fact I received another lecture about the inconvenience, I was then asked to go in another room while the money was counted with another sales man who was more professional and able to tell me about the cambelt and provide a booklet with the up date on Audi’s. The car was not clean inside or out, the back number plate is cracked this have been put on as they are advertising motor world. The car had been MOT that morning again I was shot down when I inquired to if any advisories. The car had under 2 miles of diesel, when I inquired about having some more as I was taking it on a test drive he advised me to blame Boris Johnson. This salesman took the complete joy away from me purchasing this car in fact he gave me a headache I believe we managed to get out of that place around 3.30pm and again he advised that all we need to do is drive to the right follow the signs and we will be home in no time as he drives this way daily, This salesman I believe should be taken a side by management and spoken with maybe recruit mystery shoppers as maybe he is finding dealing with members of the public too stressful I would have been happier being served by someone else. My friend advised me to provide feedback as she felt disgusted by the service I received.
Bought a 3yo car from them. No movement on price which def made me feel cheated. Further to that, a parcel shelf was missing - had to threaten to take them to court to get them to agree to pay for one. It’s now been 10 days since they’ve agreed to pay and no money is in the account. I’m really not surprised as the service received by pretty much every single member of staff was beyond appalling. Never ever would I buy anything from these people again.
Buying a car without a test drive...? Was given the keys to the car to have a look around and inside it. (I touch most of the buttons etc) We then went the sales desk and was told I wasn’t allowed to test drive because it would need to be cleaned after - unless I wanted to buy the car. I wouldn’t be sitting at the desk asking about the car unless I was interested... How do you know if your interested unless your test driven the car. But they already let me have the keys and sit in it prior to all of this, I’m all for keeping people safe but let’s not be silly. They weren’t able to give me the full service history, the lady who served us just seemed lazy and didn't want to sell a car. Why have a sales job if you don’t want to sell, or help the customer find the right car. Terrible service, will take my money else where.
Bought a car with an alleged comprehensive check done on it, within hours had an issue that would have been easily spotted if the checks had been done. Sonny, the salesman is a creep and quite bullying in his style, rude. Had a major and dangerous fault only a week later, warranty hardly worth the paper it's written on....buyer beware. Diagnostic checks not covered, Ashley in after sales says it's not their policy to pay for them. Offered me an appointment at CarWorld to get it diagnosed but the vehicle isn't safe to drive and we live 50 miles away. They have said they will cover additional costs if it goes over the £1000 limit on the RAC warranty but won't put it in writing and they just aren't trustworthy. Shambolic place, terrible, terrible customer service.
I have just recently purchased a car from carworld Westwood Peterborough as my partner recommended them as she brought a car from here recently. I have to say from the first phone call to the point of me collecting my new car every person I dealt with with quick efficient and extremely helpful and professional in ever sense of the word and I have to say a huge thank you to David for all his help I would definitely recommend carworld westwood to any of my family or friends.
