Had problems with a car I brought back in January on going problems , took 3 months to get my money back ... Not a good place to buy a car Awful steer clear Wouldn't trust them at all
No garage has this many genuine 5 star reviews. Obviously fake or uploaded by staff or their friends and relatives. They are a bunch of cowboys and chief (no pun intended) is Kaz in "after sales". There's a misnomer if I ever heard one. Picked up the car and once home, the service light was on, the AC doesn't work at all and the tyre pressure monitor warning also came the day after. Needless to say, no one there is interested and on the rare occasions I get a response it is to fob me off and point me to weird provisions cunningly tucked away in the small print. Apparently, I declined a service which would be fair except I wasn't told one was needed nor was I asked if I wanted a service. Who buys a car needing a service?! On the topic of services, it transpires the service book is completely empty and I am still chasing for a printout....
STAY CLEAR! COWBOY DEALERSHIP!! Bought a car and after only 6 months and about 3’000 miles later I didn’t expect to have to replace the clutch, gearbox & fly wheel as they were all either badly worn and in need of replacing or actually broke, which on an automatic only Citroen would touch due to software release. This is a major repair and cost thousands!! This show of been picked up when carworld serviced the car for sale & Having never had an automatic before I didn’t know what signs to look for but having spoken with mechanics and motor engineers they say it should of been picked up. So that makes me think carworld knew about this but also knew of the cost to repair £3000 and thought they’d get away with it….guess what they did I had to pay it Citroen sent them a report and pictures and they sent it back basically saying not there problem…. Well thank you for being kind & honest and I hope you get everything you deserve. CROOKS & CONMEN
Bună seara, am cumpărat un passat 2016, 27 martie lam luat, după prima spălare, mam îngrozit, mașina foarte mult zgâriate plus un stop pe spate au spus ca mi-l schimba am 4 săptămâni și nu mai raspun la telefon, va rog încercați să evitați acest parc auto nu sunt serioși de loc, mau pus pe drumuri de 3 ori și nu au rezolvat nimik

Worst worst company I have ever used to buy a car. There's only one bloke in aftersales that doesn't seem to work many hours nor find a solution to your problems. I'm 10500 pounds out of pocket currently
Basically my partner got a vw Touareg from car world, car had zero fuel in it. Took it for a test drive found a little niggle which they did fix. Since the day we got it had nothing but problems. Had the car 7 weeks 4 of them they had the car and never fixed it. Gave me a partial refund avoid this company. 2 weeks on the cars re listed but for £2000 more avoid
I recently purchased a rr sport,and from day 1 it had suspension problems that i was assured would be sorted before i collected the car. It has now been back 3 times to get sorted without success, i put it into my local repair centre and they found the problem within 20mins. I now know why they didnt want to find the problem as its now going to cost me money that they clearly didnt want to pay out for.so i would urge anyone thinking about buying a car from this place think again. There are far better places with clearly better after sales than this place.i for 1 will never buy from here again and i change my car a lot.
Awful service from Carworld bought a five year old car which broke down the moment it arrived, the after sales department were very unhelpful and told me that the warranty would cover the costs and I didn’t need to contact them anymore! Six weeks later and the car was fixed, Carworld would not pay out for the costs for a car with pre existing faults! Would not recommend!
I spent a long time looking for my car and specific model and was really happy when i found it for sale at this branch; because i wanted this model soo much i overlooked the bad salesman and minor issues with the car. In my view the car appeared to have just been flipped over, in that it had been cleaned and ‘made road legal’ for a quick sale and not thoroughly inspected as made out on the web by the RAC. I bought the car on the strength of the service history, although this didn’t come in the form of a service book but a printout from Seat. This didn’t tell me which types of services it had but they were all there and regular, all from Seat so i had some faith. The salesman told me that the tyres were run flats but they weren’t, they provided a run flat repair kit which was for a 14” tyre and not the 18” on the car itself. There were buttons and switches missing that were not highlighted to me even though the vehicle had apparently been checked by the service department prior to the test drive and on the test drive i noticed that when i took the vehicle to 70mph the steering wheel juddered. I pointed these issues out and i was told that after the sale the parts would be ordered and the steering issue sorted within a couple of weeks. So now since the end of April i have received the parts at my home address but have not been able to get these fitted as Carworld don’t get back to me, each time i call my message is ‘passed on’ to the relevant person but they never call back. I have had to sort out my steering issue which Kwik Fit told me the new fitted tyres had not been balanced and steering not tracked which goes to show that they really just ‘polish’ the cars for a quick sale but they don’t really thoroughly check the vehicles they sell. To date as i said i have been lucky that the vehicle was originally sound and so its still running well. Lastly about the salesman, I wasn’t pressurised into buying the vehicle just like it says online however i did try and get some money off due to the issues with the car and if they did any emergency services discounts however he said ‘no, take it or leave it’. I took it but also had to endure his story of why he was selling cars at his age which was to pay for a divorce and that he had been previously arrested for drink driving; this is just stuff someone doesn’t want to know when buying a car.
