Cars 54 are a terrible company to deal with. Refuse to repair faults and lie about warranty cover. Do not trust.

We have just purchased a qashqai from this dealer and found the dealer more than helpful, the car was well presented and we were given a good price for our part exchange. More than happy!
This dealer has the car i want, however im unable to act on it as the staff dont turn up! I managed to book a test drive over the phone but turned up today as arranged to find no staff have materialised and woundnt answer the mobile number. Im struggling to sympathize as i was told i couldnt drive it earlier in the week as he was by himself however i have driven from another dealer on site today without pre-booking in a large open space at the rear of the site without any issues or needing to be accompanied. Poor service from a seemingly disinterested dealer, I couldnt justify the risk buying a car from them taking into account the previous comment and the lack of customer service even before purchasing the car.
Terrible company and staff. They sold me a car with known faults and supply a warranty that does not cover anything. Beware of their untrustworthy salesman. Natural born liars.

Not exactly a true reflection of events there David, you had a fault with your vehicle 2 weeks after you bought it to which we offered to repair in full at no cost to yourself, we never asked for anything other than the car be left with us to carry out the repair but you had given the job to a vauxhall main dealer without any authorisation by us or the warranty company. The vauxhall dealer quoted us twice the price to repair the vehicle than we could repair it for which we declined as you bought the car from us and not the main dealer so we were obliged to repair it, as a compromise we offered the price of repair to us plus an extra £500 towards the main dealer price as you were adamant you wanted it repaired there. We always said that the car had to come to us for repair but you would not allow this to happen. I cannot understand how we sold the car with known faults after you test drove the car and drove back to scotland in it without fault. As explained the warranty would have covered the repair with us but not at a main dealer because of the rates charged by them but we were never given that chance.

Amazing lies yet again. This company did not offer an additional £500 pounds towards the extra cost. It was Elliot Instance, the owner, that gave the go ahead for the repairs to be carried out. The car had the fault codes cleared before I took ownership( ask Brent as it was him that had it done). I did not refuse to let you repair it, you refused to collect the car to have it repaired. There was no way for me to get the car to you as it had the engine removed in order to carry out the work. I still have every single email regarding these conversations, in which I am told in no uncertain terms, and I quote, \cars54north will not be paying for any other costs either you or Vauxhall can pay for it\"."
