All fine when I was interested in buying, friendly and approachable. HOWEVER, this did not remain the case when I found issues with the car. Very rude owner who refused to put anything in writing to me and wanted everything over phone call. After weeks and weeks of trying to reject the vehicle after they failed to attempt to repair (stating it wasn’t an issue they could sort) I finally got a partial refund after threatening court proceedings. This car which I was told they would not sell again, or any other of this model of that age bracket because of the ‘notorious’ problems they apparently weren’t aware of before I reported it. However it is now back on the forecourt for £1000 more than I was refunded! Absolutely awful experience, repeatedly lied to, information not disclosed, spoke over me constantly on the phone and probably hoped I’d just drop it. There was an oil leak that they denied over and over again stating my type of car just burns oil quicker and nothing they could do - 2 other garages confirmed an oil leak. I very much doubt this has been fixed prior to being re-advertised since they told me it couldn’t be sorted. Very worrying that someone will go through the exact same issues as me if unfortunate enough to buy. PLEASE AVOID DEALING WITH THIS GARAGE.

I recently purchased a car from central car company for first time,it was a no pressure sale, none of usual the usual pushy salesman I,'ve dealt with in past at other places. They turned around my new car around in short space of time to help me out and get me mobile again, up to press I would deal with them again

Excellent customer service received from Kev, in a friendly and helpful manner. Went several times to view and test drive cars before making purchase, with no sales pressure. Delighted with my car, all slight issues all resolved to my satisfaction. I would recommend this Company to anyone.

I bought a car that I love from here, after a while it developed a fault. Once central had all the information they sorted the problem out. While Id of prefered it to be faster they where honest about the time frame. They where always friendly when I spoke to them and ultimately I would use them again.

My experience was a refreshing change as i usually hate garages especially sales people. The guy there was friendly and gave me good advice without patronising me which is what i always seem to get being female!! I'm very nervous on test drives but Jim or John (sorry i cant remember) stressed that it was important so i get the right car. Annoyingly for him i ended up trying 4 till i was happy. I found a very similar car £200 cheaper elsewhere but these had the alloys refurbished? (i think thats what you call it) so i was happy to go back the next day and buy it. So far i have had to replace a bulb and there was a squeak coming from the boot which they sorted for me x

I wouldnt go anywhere near Central Car Co be aware if interested bought it and had nothing but problems with engine overheating and coolant issues gave car back after 8 weeks of hassle and 7 attempts at trying to fix it and wouldnt recommend buying from this dealership owners arrogant and not very helpful was very dissapointed as on the outside looks like a great car for the price but was i wrong stay away

Not pushy, really interested in finding THE car you want. Good knowledge of the cars I test drove. James from Central Car Co sold my Mum a car, he took the time to find the car that would suit her needs, I then went back and bought a car myself. I found the whole car buying experience easy, honest and reliable.

Not many honest garages around. Central Car Company Grimsby seem to be the exception. Tall guy whose name I cannot remember took the time to show us all the options and was friendly and knowledgeable. This made a change from the usual typical salesman. Car has been ok since purchase.
