Just bought a used C-Class from Chariots and was most impressed by their professional, friendly and more than helpful attitude. Dealt initially with Franco, who helped us with locating the vehicle we were looking for. Luke was the guy who actually sold us the car and couldn't have been more helpful and courteous, throughout. We were most impressed by being allowed to take the car out for a test drive, on our own. It can be intimidating having the salesman sitting in the passenger seat while you take it out for a spin. We were told we could be out for an hour, if we wanted. We thought this was very trusting of them and I am sure it made all the difference to us deciding to buy the car, as we had plenty of time to check it over thoroughly. Purchasing a used car can be a very daunting experience but we can honestly say that everyone we dealt with from the ladies on reception through to Franco ( the boss) himself, made the whole experience pleasurable. They provide an air of complete professionalism and we can and will, certainly, recommend.

Went in to see Luke on Sunday with a friend of mine. He looked after me so well I took the car then and there! Nice guy and the girl on the front desk made a lush latte aswell which can always win me over. Recommend to anyone

Buyer beware! If you place a deposit on a vehicle at this dealer and circumstances beyond your control dictate that reason would determine the cancellation of the contract, the delayer will not respond to repeated telephone calls and emails. If you force the issue the dealer will not negotiate and will retain the deposit in full.

Please read the smallprint when you buy a car from Chariots Specialist Cars. Their warranty is worthless unless the cost to repair exceeds the amount that they charge for what they describe as "diagnosis". Even then, it's a minimum of £60. Diagnosis, according to Chariots Specialist Cars is just looking at the fault. So they give you one year warranty? Marvelous. Tried taking it back with a fault and they charge you just to look at the fault which they sold to you in the first place. Two reasons for this. 1: To discourage customers from complaining about the faulty cars they sell. 2: If they are going to foot the bill, at least they can make some money from you at the same time. I consider this scandalous. If they are happy to profit from their customer's misfortune, what else are they capable of?
