Charles Hurst used cars on Boucher road are awful. Their staff are dishonest, misleading and untrustworthy. They made it impossible for me to buy a car without taking an expensive finance deal that would give them a large commission, despite the fact I wanted to buy with cash. Their first lie was that the car was not on the site. The next lie was the Car was faulty. The next lie was it is to busy to test the car. They allowed me to travel two hours for a scheduled test drive and when I arrived they asked me had I not got the voicemail and the car has been sold, no doubt on finance. No voice mail left so that was their final lie. Utterly contemptible people, service and organisation.

wowow. what an excellent experience, James went over and above my expectations. what a team. car was in superb conditions , helped us not to miss the ferry back too england would highly recommend this team. fantastic !

My car is a Nissan Juke purchased in September 2024 with 3,200 miles on the clock, On 29 June I was driving the car when I couldn’t get it in to gear. The car was taken by recovery service to Hurst’s in Newtownards. I was shocked to be told the next day that the problem was a burnt out clutch.. It would not be covered by the warranty and was solely due to my driving. Such rubbish as I have been driving for over 60 years without any previous clutch problems. Obviously the car had been fitted with a faulty clutch. On 8 July I arranged with Hurst’s for the car to be picked up the next day. Hurst’s agreed to this.. The next day when a mechanic employed by me went to pick up the car it wasn’t even ready. Obviously the dealer hasn’t a clue about anything.. When I enquired about a replacement car none was available.. The availability of a car is not mentioned in the brochure I have on Nissan Roadside Assistance. My advice to anyone thinking of a car don’t go near Hurst’s and definitely not a Nissan. Best scrap available. It’s shameful that for over 2 weeks no help or assistance is available to me from anyone. When a car isn’t available help and assistance is needed by the car owner not comedians making light of every thing. My end of complaint reads room for a lot of improvement and could do much better. Having purchased cars from CH Belfast, Lexus and a Toyota we were lied to, given false assurances. On collection vehicle was dirty and parts which were to be fixed were not. To top it off 17 minutes (seemed like an hour) we waited to be acknowledged by a member of the team when we went to pick up the vehicle. It’s that bad I am currently getting my Lexus service done in Hull as I don’t trust CH Belfast at all.

Son's car, purchased 3 month's ago with a 6 month warranty. Exhaust fell off - it was worn and should not have been sold. Won't book it in for over 2 weeks, want to charge for a courtesy car, and told him it would need a diagnostics check, costing £168. Diagnostics check ffs - the exhaust is lying in the boot! They also intimated that the repairs might cost because might not cover them. Cowboys. Will do anything to avoid honouring the warranty and aftercare.

Purchased car from them, which was straight forward. Car had no car mats or spare key. Advised that mats would be posted and they had someone organised to contact me the following week to provide spare key...14months later and I continue to wait for both!! Emails, calls and messages left are all ignored and not responded to. Have been contacted twice by them about MOT and servicing, which they had totally wrong each time. Both times asked about spare key and mats and told, they'd pass the message on. Still I wait. Poor altogether and subsequently, will not return. Disappointing as their Lisburn branch had always been so good to me.

Never buy a car from these people , daughter bought car from them 21 days later car broke down , after been told it was all checked , took 25 days for car to be fixed after a lot off messing around chasing them to fix it and never even have her a car for the time she didn't have here, warranty is a joke, don't not buy car from these people only want ur money not interested in helping you after that

This was my first mobility car, so was very nervous. Eion mcalaster dealt with my car journey from beginning to end. Offering us time to ask question. Eion was very helpful and his approach was relaxing. All done on time and sorted without any issues. It was also nice to hear if we had any issues not to be afraid to call him again.
