Purchased a Landrover discovery sport from Charles Hurst Landrover. Timing chain failed(with no warning) after 74000 miles causing engine failure leaving me stranded on dual carriageway. The repair cost £7000 and 3 months duration. If only I had read the reviews I would have realised this was a common failure. The car was serviced and maintained per manufacturers schedule. Charles Hurst profit from these failures and customer pays. A timing chain should last car lifetime or at least 120,000 miles. Buy a Kia ( not from CH) as they offer 7 year warranty and are reliable. Never again Charles Hurst LR.

where do I even begin??? I'd give them 0 stars if I could.....I've never experienced service like it, nor will I ever again! The biggest problem was "miscommunication" or as most of us would call it LIES! Ordered a new electric Kona told 12weeks worst cast scenario 24weeks due to backlog of deliveries. The date kept moving further and further away, I was constantly having to chase for updates. I was finally told my car was fully built in Sept and would be on the boat 1st Nov, phoned a few days after to be told my car hadn't even be manufactured and wouldn't be until mid Dec. Complained to both the dealership manager and to Charles Hurst overall customer service director to be fobbed off, told there's nothing they could do and that they don't have courtesy cars, despite a friend who'd been in a courtesy car from them for 3 weeks at the time. Tried to find an alternative with the director with a different brand, she got the hopes up for a resolution, but it turned out she couldn't even relay simple correct information to the other brand manager who wasn't able to assist due to this. She then never returned any calls or messages obviously knowing she'd made a stupid error with it all. Went to an entirely different dealership my new electric vehicle was handed over within 2.5 weeks after a test drive, they even offered to deliver to my door almost 70miles away from their dealership. Order cancelled with Charles Hurst Hyundai but it took 2 calls, 2 messages and an email to finally get them to cancel the order. Reading a lot of the reviews across the various Charles Hurst pages this diabolical standard of customer service seems to be the norm.....it's a NO from me thanks.
What an incredible experience at Maserati Belfast! Words can't describe how well me and my parter have been treated while buying our second-hand 2018 Ghibli! Richard Montgomery is a true gentlemen and he's gone above and beyond during the process from the beginning to the end. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and hospitable. We are based in Bristol, England and Richard made the distance buying process a breeze. We've received great service and had some great conversations along the way. Thank you again Richard!

I recieved new car from cheryl yesterday. She was very professional and friendly. All information i got was explained which was great because i have trouble reading due to my sight loss. Someone should buy her a new pen thoigh lol. Great job

I left a public google review 2 months ago on GOOGLE maps and also Trustpilot which they read and as public they responded to my complaint by saying investigating and would come back to me direct but based on the experience I've had already from Charles hurst Land rover and from Land rover themselves, I knew this was just a PR stunt again and alas haven't heard anything since. What's worse is that Land rover pointed me to the Motor Ombudsman but as soon as i became serious and decided to go this route and asked LRover for certain specifics on info they said they wouldn't supply it to me so they are basically saying go to them but we will not give you the info to progress it. Absolutely astounding !! Keith Mccarter
bought a mercedes off charles hurst belfast and never again!! the car was 8 weeks in a garage literally half the time i had the car. they will tell you they will ;call you back; but never do! I read some bad revies before buying but i thought they were just unlucky but now i wish i listened.. never again, stay away!!!
Let down again by Charles Hurst. Both occasions when I went to purchase, i was told both cars were higher priced than advertised. I'm absolutely disgusted and I will never be back to look at cars from you again.

I purchased a car from Charles Hurst used car Belfast. Which has signs up stating their cars are thoroughly inspected and safe. Well I was sold a car with a bald tyre!!! And the other tyre kept going flat. I contacted them and took the car back up. They did change the bald tyre, whilst doing so I asked for the other tyres to be checked as I knew something was wrong with one. I was assured the rest were fine/safe to drive. On way home wheel went down again!! I took to my own mechanic who found a nail right through the tyre!!! Had been there since I got it. I contacted sales rep again and was assured they would 'look into It'. I never heard another thing from them, even after emailing again for an update!!! So if your wanting to buy a safe, reliable car do NOT buy from here!!!

I am really pleased with my Range Rover from Charles Hurst! It's been perfect! I have had no issues with ot at all and it was a really good price! Especially after my PX. The car was immaculate too. I would happily recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great car and impeccable service.

I bought a Vauxhall Astra from this dealership back in June. The sales team were brilliant and the car looked brand new. The whole experience was perfect and I would definitely recommend Charles Hurst.
