Buyers beware at Vertu Teesside I recently purchased a new M135i. Under Covid unable to test drive. I contacted Teesside Vertu to discuss options of returning the vehicle with a refund. We had read something on BMW website which suggested this was an option. It was not. They did not accept my reasons for wanting to return. I bought the car in good faith and accept my decision to buy. So tried to part exchange for another vehicle. But would not give me anywhere close to the 35400 paid. Had one potential deal which on further investigation the X1 was not available and wanted more money than originally thought. I have contacted both the dealer and BMW customer service neither helped in anyway. Vertu made me an offer to buy back at 28.5k only 3 weeks after purchase. So buyers beware the after sales service terrible. They even said they wanted to keep me happy as a customer. The final insult is the head of the dealership who said he would investigate has not had the decency to respond direct. Have now gone to Mercedes who have been brilliant. So big heads up to Synter Mercedes at Teesside
We have recently bought our car from Vertu Teeside the sales team Matthew and Andy were very welcoming, professional and answered all our queries. Their friendly manner and the way the showroom had all the covid infection prevention strategies in place put us at ease. Matthew has answered any queries we have had promptly. Well done and I would recommend buying from here.
I am in the process of buying a car and have made payment 48 hours ago via a faster payment. I was promised that confirmation of payment, from BMW, would be provided within the hour. 48 hours later, 30 phone calls, 20 emails, 2 complaints to BMW UK, 1 direct complaint to the Head of Business at BMW (and a partridge in a pear tree) later and I'm still having to chase up for confirmation of receipt of funds. As with most BMW's the funds transferred are substantial and could potentially have been used to buy a row of houses in Hartlepool. The best line I've had back so far is that because most of accounts are on Furlough there is a delay in communication. Can I suggest you bring them back of furlough so that legal compliance can be met or close until you are ready to 'do business'.
Took my bmw in for repair on a few different parts, all was well & they were happy & polite, All of sudden when collected my car they decided to tell me there was another fault. They had my car long enough to notice this fault, also they had to remove this part to repair the rest!! It’s clearly been tampered with but will they hell take any blame! Disgusting attitudes completely rude!!!
Couldn't recommend this dealership at all never call back when promised. Worse car preparation i have ever had, BMW owner since 1971!

Had a bad experience at this dealership but after speaking to John Curry This man has Re newed my faith in BMW excellent customer service went out of his way to make a bad situation Good at the end of the day I have his word he will find out what happened and I believe he will very Good man I wish I had of gone to him in the beginning thankyou John you have made driving from Manchester worth it I really appreciate your help and Service:: )
I purchased a BMW 5 series from the Tessside branch I live the n Manchester,In my contract it states my car will get delivered to my address on a tow truck so the mileage doesn’t go up basically it got drove to Manchester with a added 200 miles on the clock obviously I was fuming complained got a free service and a full tank of fuel and a vallet free of 1 of the managers took it in for a vallet got the car back Big dent in the left hand side damaged bonnet and damaged head light BMW admitted it was there fault said they would pay the body shop repairs as on the CCTV you can see how it happened 7 days later suddenly it’s not BMWs fault you can’t see your t anymore on the CCTV but if I want the repairs doing they will as long as I pay but BMW are not saying I caused the damage myself so if it’s now not BMWs fault and it’s not my fault some random person has fell out of the sky and hit the left hand side of my car WTF the service is terrible customers are always right your not talking about a few quid your talking about thousands of pounds on a bm that’s been either drove into something or hit something at the garage I can’t actually believe how cheeky and disrespectful some of the managers are at that place they need sorting out by trade and standards I always buy BMWs have done for years NEVER again I’ve told all my family and friends don’t go there
