AVOID Coopers Cars South West: Sold a Car to my elderly In laws that was faulty, tried to take it back a few days later to be told there is nothing wrong with it. They can't drive it as its juddering when moving slowly and frightens them. Refused out right to give them a refund as its not his problem, and should take it up with the manufacturer. Its now going to court and they are likely to lose their buying with confidence badge from trading standards due to their poor customer service, and not following the law on consumer rights.

I found Cooper's Cars South West on my tablet when looking for a van for my husband. One came up that we were interested in, straight away we arranged a viewing, on our first visit made a decision to purchase it! Buy the following week everything was sorted, deposit, payment, tax everything was explained and was straight forward nothing was too much trouble. I think we could be labelled as demanding customers! We dropped in and saw the car unprepped and on the ramp. We were invited to look around it. James kindly explaining what they did to all cars and showing what they were going to do to this one. He pointed out what they were fixing too. We were impressed by the honest and unpressured approach. We came back a couple of days later and put a deposit on the car. Tony, the owner was professional and straight talking. No nonsense. Over the next week they worked tirelessly on prepping the car to a standard that exceeded our expectations. The car looked new not 9 years old! I really liked that all the staff were friendly, and answered questions in an honest way. They prepped the car in just the way they said they would.
