A second hand car is just that. My van had almost 100k miles on it, and you don't expect perfection. What you do expect is value for your money. I paid a considerable sum for this to realise a few months on that the paintwork has been bodged by someone, apparently not them. Also was not made aware it was close to a cambelt service. Don't expect any help. -'What do you expect for a 100k vehicle'? Good question. Value for money. I paid too much for this. Not great P.R. -you certainly pay and take your chance. Do you feel lucky?

Customer wanted unrealistic price for his Part exchange and also expected a 1000 pound discount off our car also, and became shirty when denied. All whilst I had 2 genuine buyers already in the office after test drive in earshot. It was by this time clearly obvious, that we were not going to be able to do business. Sorry we were not able to agree with your unrealistic demands, and I therefore I needed to concentrate on the 2 genuine buyers I had in the office at the same time.
Can't rate Cornwall Trade Centre enough. Both Guy for offering to pick me up to view a car, and Simon for his help getting me the car the same day. Very professional , not pushy sales very relaxed environment, As for the car my Saab, I'm still in awe of it. Helpful after sales allowing me to bring it back for them to fix cosmetic damage when I'm ready, 6 month warranty for piece of mind and free mots for life of car. Always been put off by dealers , would recommend this place and both Guy and Simon, to like minded people.

Was interested in a car that was for sale at Cornwall Trade Centre and having been reassured by the salesman over the phone we arranged to travel the 3 hours to view it with the intention of driving it away. When we turned up to look at the car we actually believed it to be another because it definitely wasn't as was described. The car was 'apparently' ready to drive away, having just been serviced, MOT'ed and valeted - this may have been a little optimistic! As soon as you opened the door you were hit with a horrible stagnant smell with parts inside covered in mould including the service book folder. Whilst taking it for a test drive It had various mechanical issues which should have been dealt with either as part of the comprehensive 29 point check or certainly as part of the service. Finally, the salesman really couldn't care less that we had travelled so far and didn't even have the courtesy to answer any of our questions. DEFINITELY AVOID THIS TRADER!

Customers expectations of a used car exceeded there budget. Car was sold the very next day to a very happy customer.
Bought a Renault Clio estate from Cornwall Trade Centre which was just what we wanted. Took it for a test Drive and it was fine. When we picked it up it had the most terrible rattling noise. We took it back to the after sales at Dales who agreed that there was a noise but fobbed us off with the excuse that it was a second hand car and we should expect noises and there was nothing wrong with the car.. still not happy we asked for our money back but they refused and still said there was nothing wrong with the car. After complaining to the managing director they offered as a "gesture a good will". They would repair the car even though they said there was nothing wrong with it. And bear in mind the car was sold with six months Gold warranty. We took the car in to after sales which they kept for 2 days it had new shock absorbers, new brake pads, 2 new link rods LH suspension kit and centralised the steering not bad considering they told us twice there was nothing wrong with the car. And all cars according to their website is given a 29 point check before they are sold. We are now stuck with a car we have no confidence in at all. Do not buy from these people
I part exchanged my old car for a VW EOS and I ma very happy with everything. I got a really good amount for the PX and I have had no issues with the new car at all. It was received really nice and clean and matched its online description perfectly. Lovely experience and I would recommend Cornwall Trade Centre.

Really not impressed. AND i totally agree with Marks review. Had nothing but problems with my car. They offer a free MOT and then fail it for issues related to problems i've had since i brought the car. I am now having to be without a car till it's resolved
I bought an expensive car from Cornwall Trade Centre and had nothing but problems, they didn't want to help and I lost all my money. DO NOT USE THEM.
Cornwall Trade Centre were great, they did everything they said they would and even did extra bits I didn't ask them to do which was fantastic and not something I've ever experienced at a dealership before. The car has been sound and is exactly what I need for now. I'd absolutely recommend them.
