Jordan was amazing today, with the help off jake dean. He had all the answers to all my questions and was very professional in the way that he dealt with me. bought a great car from dace motor company on liverpool rd give me a great service. traveled 100 miles to view the car in the advert information and phone call. when i viewed the car they was true the there advert as the car was good as they said it was with good after sales to i would definitely travel a 100 miles again to buy a car again from them and recommend them to my family and freinds and a big thanks to john who sorted the deal

Purchased a VW Golf TSI from Dace Motor Company in Stockport and had problems as soon as I drove away. Started with a minor issue, the folding mirror didn’t fold on the drivers side because they replaced it with a cheaper replica used part without telling me, Drivers side window wouldn’t go all the way down, no car mats, no SD card for the sat nav to work, engine started making a strange noise after 1 week and smoke from exhaust. They replaced the mirror with one that folds but wouldn’t pay for genuine VW parts in their warranty and I had to find a back street garage as they didn’t want to pay too much for labour either. Had to purchase floor mats and VW sat nav SD card myself even though the sat nav is a standard feature on this spec golf. Returned the vehicle from London to Manchester after 2 weeks due to engine/exhaust issues on a 64 reg car! Got a refund after threatening legal action. Very rude people after they have taken your money. Their cars can not possibly be independently inspected as they advertise (maybe they have a “friend”that inspects the cars cash in hand) I wouldn’t recommend spending your hard earned money at this place. I wouldn’t be surprised if any good reviews for this company will be from their own friends and family and not genuine! Purchase from DACE at your own risk and get your own inspection done before giving a penny to these people. You might think it’s a good deal but it’s not worth the agro, the problems and the attitude you’ll get after. Good luck!

Thank you for leaving a review, I’m sorry your experience doesn’t appear to have been a very good one. I do however feel a little let down. I see in your review. You point out a few problems. Poor aftersales and rude? I agree you had a couple of issues with the car. After checking the driver’s side window making sure it goes up and down. We were not ware it did not function correctly, sorry did not go all the way down. With reference to the driver’s door mirror. Yes, you are correct again, the mirror did not also function how it was designed to. Did not power fold. After speaking to you myself and agreeing to get all the work done at no cost to yourself. Replacing the mirror adjusting the window and sending you a new SD card for the sat nav. You can see why I feel a little let down with your review. After a week Dace Motor Company agree to pay for all the work to be undertaken, I see you contacted my aftersales again. This time a strange noise and smoke coming from the exhaust. I don’t take kindly to threats so refunding you the full amount for the car you purchased was the best option for both parties. Being a Trading Standards approved garage. We follow all their guidelines. And all of my mechanics are fully qualified. I feel I should be the one who should be upset after with you being aggressive to myself when you brought the car back. Demanding £100 extra even though we agreed over the phone the balance. After we kindly gave you your money back, I did get the car inspected by another garage. The report came back saying no faults were found to this car. Further inspection also came back no noise or smoking could be found. I would however like to apologise to you and your family for any inconvenience this may of caused. Regards Jason Birch

So, went to Dace Motor Company Friday late afternoon to look at a Volvo V40 R Design. Took it for a test drive and John was really nice and helpful. I was really interested but wanted to do my due diligence by looking at another two Volvo’s at The Car People, but wanted to make sure I didn’t loose the car if I decided to go and purchase it so I put a £100.00 ‘reservation’ on the car. After looking at the other two I decided the colour and drive of this one was great and decided to go back to Dace on Saturday and finalise the purchase. I’d said the night before I don’t need finance I’d be paying the amount outright. I was then told that there had been an ‘administrative’ error and it should of been £1000.00 more than advertised on their website and autotrader. Really angry at this, wasted my time and why wasn’t it picked up when I was looking at it, test driving it and putting a reservation fee down?! Really annoyed at this and frustrated that after shopping around I’m back to square one. Not happy and really angry at them. Was this £1000 the commission they would of lost not selling it via finance? Most likely! I wouldn’t use these again, lead you on and change the price at the last minute! Watch the prices and finance they give!

Dace Motor Company are a Bunch of Greedy amateurs, any company that won't accept payment by debit card thus; disallowing the customer to have the option of using Visa charge back for refunds and/or partial refunds has got something to hide! they use the Bill/transfer method or a finance scheme system were you have no charge back facility! Bought a Ford Mondeo Titanium from these jokers with multiple issues Engine over-filled with oil, cooling system faults (Coolant missing/leaking), mixed spec winter and normal tyres, excessive vibrating unbalanced wheels, a fake Chinese Xtrons audio/media system which they tried to pass off on me! an internally Damaged driver's seat, no audio system manual, centre console cover jammed shut, torn leather steering wheel. They charged the upper most price for a car that had no service history compared to other dealers that had cars of the same or similar type with lower mileage and full service history! I Had to pay for the wheels to be balanced and a wheel nut that vibrated off while still under warranty, which Jason Birch one of the most arrogant, ignorant, jumped up, egotistical bullies I've ever meet with a superiority complex! I asked if he would reimburse me for the costs I amounted due to Dace's incompetence, when I took the car back to be repaired, he refused to say if he would or would not, again trying to play mind games with a paying customer that had been sold a faulty, defective car by Dace Motor Company. I pointed out that Dace were in BREACH OF THEIR OWN CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE AND ETHICS! clearly mentioned on their own web site! The car had not been checked and tested before being released for sale, again profit before customer. The car broke down twice (because of the cooling system faults) it had to be relayed twice using up two of my Brake down service call outs. I gave them every opportunity to fix the car but they did not! they had it in their workshop for two weeks and still wanted me to accept it back unfixed with a dodgy counterfeit stereo, which they confirmed and admitted to but still expected me to accept. Jason Birch had repeatedly made false claims about Dace's prices and the availability of the model of the car I bought! I had no option but to reject the car and ask for a full refund which was my legal right. Birch full of bluster said " speak to my Solicitor I'll see you in Court" I was then left stranded in Stockport. I live over 40 miles away! I was also told that the car was not covered by their insurance on their site, whilst it was being rejected back to them! an obvious despicable scare tactic! I had to make my own way back home at my own cost and at a great deal of inconvenience! as I have a chronic debilitating illness that I had made them aware of, Again I asked to be reimbursed but surprise, surprise I was refused! I was deliberately kept waiting, I had to prepare to go to Court I contacted Citizens advice and trading standards and was told that Jason Birch and Dace Motors did not have a leg to stand on. I had to go without transport for over a week, eventually a damage limitation person from Dace called me and offered me a refund which they could of done a lot sooner! If I had gone to court I would had a chance to air my grievance and embarrass Dace and give them the bad publicity they and Jason Birch deserve and claim my costs and expenses, but Jason Birch conveniently timed it to cause me most disruption and stop me from claiming back the costs, again another a sign of a puerile narcissist with a God complex who can never admit he's wrong! a typical I know everything (he thinks he does) but I learn nothing person! Lesson number 1 Mr Birch your Customer's are not your sub-ordinates if anything it's the other way round, Customers pay yours and everyone else's wages at Dace Motor Company! I eventually bought a Ford Mondeo Zetec from another dealer, a year newer with 32,000 miles less on the clock, with full service history and breakdown cover for the same money as Dace's faulty, defective Ford Mondeo.

Sounds strange why would you go to a dealer just to sell your car? If you are purely selling, surely you would of got a hell of a lot more money for it posting a straight honest ad on gumtree or ebay. I traded in my car with these lot the most they gave me was £1,470 it had nothing wrong with it....FSH and MOT a few days later it was on their web site for sale priced at £3,466. Say's it all really!

We recently purchased a Peugeot 208 from Dace Motor Company in Stockport Cheshire and had the pleasure of dealing with Peter, his non-pushy genuine and helpful approach was very refreshing compared with some other car dealers I have dealt with. The car had been prepared/was valeted to a very high standard when we picked it up, just as he promised it would be. Upon arriving home we discovered that some of the rear LED side lights were not working which on a this model of car required a complete light replacement. I contacted Peter about this and within a couple of days a new replacement light arrived (as it was a simple 5 minute job to replace the unit I advised Peter I was happy to fit it myself). Problems may arise but it is how they are dealt with that counts and this issue was handled excellently so I would have no doubt at all in recommending Dace and would certainly use them again in the future.
