***Update to my review***Received the refund of my deposit after a further follow up call, while I believe that there was no intent by Elite Cars to withhold my deposit I will in future do my research on vendor reviews before parting with any funds in order to avoid any issues in future. This matter was settled and I now have no basis for providing either positive or negative feedback of this vendor.

As this company is Internet based - you can use the Distance Selling Act to get your money back for whatever reason you have and they have to do it asap.

Over the last 4/5 years l have purchased 2 cars from this company and family and friends another 6 cars during this period, l can only comment on our experience....but we have all received excellent service throughout the whole process of buying and part exchanging our vehicles. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone who would wish to purchase their next vehicle from a company that care about their customers and provide an efficient hassle free service.

Every car we supply goes through a full MOT and a Service by one of our Independent Garages. We do strongly rely on any report that comes back for any work that needs to be done. If they are happy with the condition of the car then we release the vehicle. This customer came back to us around six weeks after purchasing it and had taken the vehicle to a local Tyre Centre who came up with a list of items that he was not happy with. ( Just a small note we receive lots of calls from Mechanics who write a list of many things that they claim need replacing but we have proved many times that they have no conclusive evidence that there is usually anything wrong). As we was very confused at the list of items that would come up in an MOT or would have been spotted by our Mechanics we asked the customer if we could collect the vehicle for us to get a second opinion but she refused. We then asked her to take the car to a reputable garage for any issues to be done and we loaned her a car. To be fair to this customer there were a few issues that was not addressed at the point of sale but they were items that we would not have known or seen at that stage to be of poor quality and all items were dealt with and sorted. This case never went to the Court and no Court papers were ever issued against Elite Cars. We always offer to have the vehicle brought back here to sort out any issues and this was offered to this customer, in fact we offered to collect the vehicle from her and leave her a replacement car but she refused. We did struggle to help this lady as it seemed she lost trust in our Company quite quickly and any attempt by us to resolve any issues became hard work.

The Gentleman arrived from Milton Keynes to find we had sold the vehicle and was very upset. It was our mistake as we had organised a test drive for the Saturday but a customer arrived here late on the Friday evening and purchased the car. We forgot to phone him back to let him know which was not very professional. We do take lots of calls asking for test drives and the percentage of customers who actually turn up are around 50% so we cannot hold every vehicle in the hope that they will turn up so we have to sell every car to the person that has reserved a viewing or who actually turns up. We do attempt to phone all customers to make sure they are still coming but it is very difficult when its busy to get back to everyone and occasionally we make mistakes. We hope he located a similar vehicle and is very happy.
