We have just purchased a great condition Renault Clio from Elmbank motors for my sons first car. The guys couldn’t have been more helpful with their advice and service. They gave his car a service and a mot including fixing the advisory that it had, thus backing up the feeling of a garage giving an excellent standard of service and to a good standard. The guys even went over the different controls in the car and showed my son where all his fluids,oil etc all were in his new car. We actually felt that great about dealing with the guys at Elmbank we will be taking his Clio back for yearly service and mot such is the feeling of a garage that does things right. I know how important it was to me when looking at garages to check reviews of the people we were looking to deal with with, so I hope this helps other potential buyers in the future.

We recently bought a Zafira from this garage and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Before committing to buy we asked about the timing belt due to the age if the car and Paul went away and checked if it had been done. It hadn't and they got it done. We picked the car up at night so couldn't inspect it properly. In daylight we discovered an issue with one of the fog lights and phoned Paul. He arranged to have the car brought back down and the part was replaced. No questions, no bartering, just doing what they said they would and fixing the issue. We would certainly recommend Elmbank to others not just because of the friendliness and speed of service but because these guys are 100% genuine and make sure the car is serviced, MOT'd and any issues are dealt with in a timely manner. We will certainly be going back next time we are in the market for another car.

I recently bought a car from Elmbank Motors, and although I don’t usually write these reviews, I thought in this instance I should. Kyle, was so helpful, and polite, no pressure to buy.The day I collected the car, it had been serviced, and with a fresh MOT, also fully valeted. I’m very picky, and a couple of things I had mentioned, were seen to. I recently bought a private registration number, and returned to Elmbank Motors, to ask Kyle if he could fit it. Was done in 2 minutes. No charge. I feel Kyle and his team go that extra mile for their customers.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt after buying a car from elmbank motor group I had to. Staff service ist class great to buy a car with great service from start to finish even got picked up by the mechanic from the train station. Really happy with the car just a few minor things overall really impressed. I will definitely return for my next car

Bought a car from these guys 2 weeks ago, car was great in every way, had a problem with engine management light coming on? telphoned elmbank, response couldnt have been better,arranged for car to be checked out, next day new cat fitted, plus as rear tyres worn, replaced without a second thought! First class service and really nice guys, staff right on the ball, if your looking to update your car this is company for you, would recommend for 5 star service. john kilmarnock.

My friend bought a car from elmbank and traded there car against it was told it was a great car only to find out it was letting water in took it back down to garage to get it fixed only to find out they never repaired it and assured me it was fixed but it wasn't went to another garage to be told the car was rotten from the inside out and I was wasting my time trying to fix it went down and got my money back minus the miles I had done not impressed now as the have no car and I'm out of pocket cheers guys!!!!

Hi, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sadly i MASSIVELY disagree with this review and also your words in the manner as to how we helped or at least we tried too. Yes the car was letting water into the boot. We stripped the whole interior out of the boot and found a point of entry. We sealed this and rebuilt and we did advise you on collection that due to the conditions (-5 outside) along with the water being frozen at the garage that we couldn't test fully but to monitor over the course and see how things go. 2 Days later you called to inform me that after taking the car to a car wash there was water re entering. We agreed to have you booked in for the coming Tuesday. You failed to show as agreed in the morning only to turn up on site later that afternoon demanding your money back. You had traveled a little over 1000 miles since owning the vehicle early November 2020. We charged the usage fee at £0.35ppm as stated in our terms & conditions, this was deducted accordingly and was just a little over £300 in terms of usage. (it would cost more than double this to rent a car for this period) The car is approaching 10 years old so no where near new but certainly not ROTTEN as you describe it. If you remember to the conversation i had, i did mention that we had seen several fiestas over the years with the same issues. The garage that you use takes their Mots to the same testing station as the one we use so i'm a bit dumbfounded with that conclusion of it being "Rotten" after just passing its MOT. I understand that you are left feeling annoyed, disappointed and frustrated that this had happened to the car, but to score me 1 star on all levels i find it so very disappointing. As i said from the beginning we are easy to deal with, we care as much as you do and we have an excellent repeat customer base. Remember i pointed out the timing belt interval was due before you committed to buying the car ? and we carried this out for you free of charge ? This is just one of the major things on a car we feel is something that needs discussed at point of sale if there is no evidence of it being done. This is the type of garage we are and NOT the type of garage that you are trying to paint us out to be. We are honest, open and upfront. We have NOTHING to hide. This water leak wasn't by any means a serious enough fault to reject the car but we accepted rejection due to the nature of who we are and the principles we have in place and adhere too. We are supporting dealers of South Ayrshire Trading Standards and we are also on their Trusted Trader Website. We do the job right and correct and more importantly we care about our customers journey. On this occasion YOU refused to let us help you. The team at Elmbank wish you all the best.
