Called to ask a few questions before driving 100 miles to view the car. Each response was 'refer to internet for the answer'. Somehow I prefer speaking to a person than a computer. What if you needed to discuss an after purchase issue - would be lovely to 'resolve that on the internet' ... NOT. Will spending my money elsewhere, seen as there are so many choices on the internet - thanks for the referral - just lost a prospective client!

Firstly apology if you think my staff member was impolite to you, Elmside Garage Ltd is a long established company with a very good Customer Service record. The person you dealt with is with the service department and not on the sales department at the moment because of the lockdown, that's the reason why he couldn't be very helpful..The truth is we are in a lockdown situation and we're not selling cars at the moment for people to travel 100 miles to come and view a car with the lockdown happening , you should be able to view all our vehicle information on the internet :– Images, Service, MOT number of keys, how many owners, all on the first page underneath the the main picture on Autitrader. To be honest with you ,you my staff was a bit offish because you asking to view a vehicle while the lockdown is happening, when everybody needs to stay indoors and not spread the virus more and more. We trying to hope this situation ends and we get back to normality as soon as possible. Thank you

For your information, I was asking questions about the vehicle, to shortlist what we wanted to look at, after lockdown. There was no arrangement or discussion about viewing the car as yet, didn't even get there, as the person was in such a rush to get me off the phone, so that is not a legitimate excuse. Purchasing my car from here was a pleasant and relaxed experience. There was no hard selling. I could take my time to look at the car to make sure it was the right care for me. The aftercare is also of a high standard. When I had a minor fault on the car it was dealt with efficiently and in the same friendly manner as when I purchased the car. I would highly recommend this garage.
I recommend Elmside Garage as I've had no issues. The car was very good value for money and the staff there were helpful! The car wasn't that clean, could of done with a better valet!

I bought a Ford from Elmside Garage, The car was good initially but there was just to many issues in the end, it became a joke.. I ended up sending money on it to get things fixed. I couldn't recommend them!

I bought a Ford from Elmside Garage, its been an issue free experience. The dealers there weren't best knowledgeable and helpful but the car was clean and as described! I would probably recommend them on this basis!

My Volkswagen UP! has been perfect. I have had it fir a couple of months and so far I have had no issues with it at all. The car was really nice and clean and in great condition and the dealers were great and made everything super easy. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

No issues at all with Elmside Garage. I bought a Peugeot 407 back in June and I have had no trouble at all. The AC wouldn't work at first but they sorted it straight away. The car was very clean and very good value for money. I would recommend.
