After looking around for a Land Rover Defender with great mileage and a more friendly price tag, I was pleasantly surprised to see one located at my local dealership, Essex Prestige. So I decided to book an appointment to go and view the car. On arrival, I was met by a friendly, happy, upbeat salesman who showed me around the car and answered all my questions in regards to the additional functions and added extras, which was greatly appreciated, as it saved me looking through a manual or having to scroll through the monotony that is Google for each of the car's features. The Defender was exactly as advertised, looked fantastic, and I couldn't wait for my test drive. After a 30-minute test drive, I found myself needing to buy the car right away, and after finishing the paperwork, the keys were in hand, and away I went. The whole process from arrival to driving away was around an hour and a half, which was really quick and efficient, and most importantly, I have a stunning car that I know I can rely upon. The team at Essex Prestige are easily deserving of 5 stars.

Since purchasing my first car from Essex Prestige, a Mercedes C class, we have since been back and got my wife one of her own, just due to how much we both loved the car. The customer service both times was excellent, and Nick was fantastic throughout both processes. It was great to see the same high customer service standards both times. The cars were always clean, shiny, and freshly valeted. and the performance from both vehicles has been excellent and hasn't come across any issues, so we have decided that if we are ever in need of another car, Essex Prestige will always be our first port of call.

I bought a ford ranger from here, as it was 200 miles away I trusted them as there stock looked pristine, as was the ranger I bought described as pristine,I took delivery of the van at 7.30 am on a Saturday morning when I was given a time of 3pm, the guy who delivered it was quick to get away leaving me half asleep to check the car over, when I did check it over I found lots wrong with it, Things wrong with the car==== Roller shutter broken and needs replacing. Styling bar/ hoop kit full of deep scratch on top. Fuel cap won't open as its catching the wheel arch. Deep scratches on bodywork. Roof is full of big dents. Paint splashes on bodywork. Both side steps are rusty. Ariel snapped off. Window trims all misty and faded. Internal fuse cover missing. Interior light keeps falling out. Console lid broken. Gear stick cover ripped and coming off. Cigarette burns around gear stick casing. Paint splashes on door cards and dashboard. Seats and carpets have Paint marks and other marks all over them. Interior step cover loose and won't stay in place. , the car got took back to the garage and before I got my refund it was back up for sale and still is. The car in question is a ford ranger reg number MJ67RYW, So the work required has not been carried out, please be aware of this garage as I was told lots of different reasons why it was delivered in such a bad condition.
