Booked my 2 year old vehicle in for simple warranty job at Evans Halshaw Ford in Burnley, no contact from service department for 2 days despite 15 phone calls to fords call centre ! You can't get a direct line to the service desk and was put on hold for 45 minutes then to be told everyone had gone home ! After voicing my anger at this to the chap on the service desk the next day I was told I should of took my vehicle somewhere else TOP CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Finally picked my van up 3 days later for a 2 hour job and it blew up on the motorway 3 miles from the MAIN FORD DEALERS garage we had just collected it from ! I rang the garage to advise them of this and they told me to phone the AA recovery ! 2 hours on the hard shoulder and the AA recovery informed me the turbo inter cooler pipe and hoses that had been removed by FORD BURNLEY to fit a alternator had not been fitted properly and I took pictures and video to document this . To add insult to my experience with this dealer I had sold the vehicle and the prospective buyer was driving when the vehicle blew up on the motorway ! The buyer then informed me that although he liked the vehicle due to the events he was going to pull out of the sale despite driving 450 miles for the vehicle ! Evans halshaw burnley just cost me £12000 Despite having a fleet of ford vehicles I hope I never have to visit this dealer again and maybe they should train there staff better to avoid reviews like this ! Terrible after sales service from Evans Halshaw Ford in Burnley. Turned out the mini we bought needed a new engine, they had it for three months and returned it. Two days later we noticed a water leak, turned out the water pump was leaking. Back to the garage, and two months later we still haven't had it back. Extremely poor at keeping you updated, and diabolical at getting faults fixed. My advice? Go somewhere else

So, bought a Ford Focus reg 2016 a year ago from Evans Halshaw Ford Burnley. The salesman Paul Walker was ok but turned out to be a ghost after I bought the car. After buying the car I realised that the parcel shelf is missing so contact Paul and he said that he will need to order the part. I chased every week but he said that it was still on order. Finally he said that it has arrived and when I went to get my car fixed because there was a dent on the back, he said that it was used by someone and will need to order again. He didn't really care, typical car salesman. Never got the bloody parcel shelf. After a year I realised that I have not received my V5 doc as I was planning to part exchange it (not with Evans Halshaw). Rang them early morning and Tom answered the phone. He said that he will need to contact their admin to sort it out and he will give me a call after an hour. Never did, so I called DVLA and sorted it out myself. Rubbish car dealer, I will never go back to this place ever again.
Worst experience of my life. Evans Halshaw Ford Burnley sold me a faulty car with a warranty but took them 2 months to repair then it developed another fault over 6 weeks ago still waiting to get it repaired no communication what so ever do not buy a car from here if you want stress free motoring.

I have been agonising about changing my car for some months now. Cars I located were usually too far away from home. My husband eventually took me to Evans Halshaw Ford in Burnley. I explained they type of car I was after. The salesman who helped us, a Mr K. O'Rourke, patiently showed me a range of cars on display that were suitable. He also showed me full details of similar cars available from other Ford garages across the Northwest. I chose a car from West Yorkshire; its full specifications were explained to me and I agreed to buy. Full details of the purchase procedure were carefully explained to me; the car was brought to Burnley; it was thoroughly checked and valeted, and the paper work was finalised by the sales team. Within a few days of that first visit, I was able to drive away in my new car. Definitely a painless experience, one I will certainly recommend to friends. Well done EH. Marion C.
