I haven't actually received my Van yet as it is currently being built as we speak, so I cannot yet make judgement on that, however, I can comment on the service provided by Ian and his team. Ian was really friendly and welcoming from the get go and always offered us beverages and biscuits which was a nice touch, it was nice to be looked after. He talked us through the process of how things worked and explained everything to us in great detail. We are always kept in the loop of things and have frequent updates of what the status of the van is. I cannot wait to get our Elgrand and make lots of memories with it! Really great service provided by Free Spirit Campervans, they couldn't have done enough for us and they really went out of their way during the purchase. The van was really well built and felt very robust inside, it had everything we required and more! I would definitely recommend to others looking for a funky campervan, these guys nailed it!

The Nissan Elgrand that I recently purchased from Free Spirit Campervans is perfect! We have had lots of fun in it already, it is very convenient and is a really lovely van, the van was built for us to our exact needs, and they have done a cracking job. I left this review on Autotrader many months ago and have only just found out from them that Freespirit lied to them in order to get them to take it down by telling them they’d not had any dealings with me. I corrected that by sending proof of purchase so they were very happy to repost it below. I should also add that Freespirit autos did this after numerous attempts at trying to intimidate me with pestering phone calls and texts trying to get me to take it down. They had no interest in talking to be about the problems I was having at the time but were suddenly all over me like a rash when they read my reviews. Appalling unprofessionalism and underhand behaviour, which only reiterates the shockingly bad company they truly are. It was, in fact, a fair and accurate account of my dealings with them. Here it is again: Happy to take your money but have absolutely no interest in customer care. After parting with nearly 
£30,000 for my converted camper, I had a catalogue of issues with Free Spirit Autos from a breakdown after just a few days and only the second time I drove it, to endlessly having to chase up the spare key, instructions for both the vehicle, radio and info on the conversion (no instruction manual for either the original van or conversion). The day I had to get the van towed back after it broke down will be a day I wish I could forget. The owner is so appallingly rude it beggars belief. He has childish tantrums and he really should be kept behind the scenes as to deal with him requires a mammoth effort to not lose one’s temper. I’ve never dealt with anyone so obnoxious. Even his staff warned me about him. And if they don’t like your questions once you’ve left the forecourt with your money in the bank, they simply blank you. N.B. The whole company were also seemingly oblivious to any Covid precautions with no respect for those of us who wish to be protected. There are a number of good (and cheaper) camper conversion companies out there. Free Spirit Autos should not even be a last resort.'

I bought a Nissan el Grand from Free Spirit last year 2020. Covid caused some delays but the finished vehicle was well worth waiting for. They import used Japanese vehicles, totally gut them, overhaul and convert them to Campers with high specifications adapted to the customers needs. . It is like having a brand new vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
