After requesting a quote for brake discs and pads from the German autocentre, I received a response the following day without any issues. However, upon reviewing the pricing, it was only slightly better than what the local Mercedes dealership had offered. When I discussed this with the dealer, they highlighted a key benefit: Mercedes Sheffield includes 12 months of free roadside assistance with any repair, regardless of the cost. This presents a significant advantage for the main dealer. Not only do you get the reliability of genuine parts and expert service, but you also receive added value in the form of complimentary roadside assistance. In this case, the combination of competitive pricing and free roadside support makes the dealer’s offer much more attractive overall. I had tried the German autocentre a year ago but received no reply to my enquiry about work at that time. In hindsight, their response would likely have been a better option this time around stating being cheap doesn’t warrant a one-star review. .However, their reply to my review claimed it was a year old, which is BS. Their response reflects their priorities: if you're looking for a deal at the expense of customer service, then the German autocentre might be right for you.
