Shocking, sold a car with corroded rims. Accused Kwik Fit of lying about the problem. "Fixed" it twice which didn't work as all they did was put a dab of sealant around the tyres. After complaining again and endless visits to the garage they promised a new wheel then reneged on this. Phone call to Gary about it, he started ranting. Gave up and paid £300 to get the wheels professionally treated and a new tyre. Shame as it was a lovely car and the salesman, Mick was excellent. Avoid at all costs.
Just want to sell you the car they are not interested in fixing any problems that may occur. Will never buy another car from there again and intend on spreading the word about how bad the service is and how over priced the cars are.
Can never get past receptionist, never call back. Always a delay or an excuse, hearing bad things from many local people.
Probably the worst company I've ever bought a car from. Bought a vw caravelle and have had nothing but problems. Turns out it was involved in an accident and hadn't been repaired properly but GMO cars wouldn't pick the car up, despite saying they would refund me fully and my delivery charges which it cost me to have the car delivered. I made over 100 phone calls and emails trying to sort this mess out. They kept sending me to back street garages to get it sorted after I threatened to take them to the ombudsman. In the end I got it sorted through a local garage with a good reputation. Then they refused to pay the garage I had used. I had to get the solicitors involved as you can see from the picture of the letter. I've redacted the address and name as I don't want family finding out. As soon as they heard the solicitors were involved they paid the garage for the repairs. If anyone wants to see all the correspondence between me and GMO cars get in touch and I'll email it over to you. 1. Only buy a car after you've inspected it, I made the mistake of listening to Mick, Kevin and Gary on the phone telling me how perfect the car was. 2. If you have an issues then make sure you take it to main dealers to sort it so you can bill the seller. 3. Always read the reviews. In this case all the reviews are from people who have only made one submission which is suspicious. People like myself who leave reviews to guide others have multiple reviews. YOUVE BEEN WARNED, THESE LOT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE THROUGH THEIR BACK TEETH. YOULL STRUGGLE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK OR GET IT SORTED AT THE MAIN

Was promised that a Discovery was due to be delivered to my budget and spec . It never was and the dealership never returned my calls. Jokers
Was told the car would have a service which it did not, was also sold with bad starter motor, dust caps had been cut from 3 old tyres meaning that air could not be put in despite waiting an extra day to collect car so new tyres could be put on. Numerous faults around the car of which gmo were unwilling to assist with despite being within warranty.
We purchased our first car from GMO Penzance 10 years ago .. we have only purchased cars from there ever since. We had an issue with a fault after a year but the warranty covered it and was very easy to arrange. The staff in the sales and service centres have always been amazing and we trust them totally. We highly recommend them. The only car salesman that actually care about you being happy and don't need to be pushy to get the sale!
GMO Cars Penzance had a great choice of vw vans to look at with a good drange of prices, finally decided on a caravelle. Great customer care by rob left a happy man with a new bus
