Was totally ripped off with the motor we bought. I was given no after service whatsoever, don't touch GMP Cars if you want my advice.

Bought a car from GMO approximately 8 weeks ago, I was a bit annoyed to find the car didn't have certain features, that it was advertised as being on it. Also tried 3 times now to get the service centre to get back to me regarding a fault with the air conditioning, but alas Kevin seems to be very elusive, Unless the service people get back to me very promptly, i'm going to take legal advice regarding this matter !

Bought a almost new car from gmo last year. Its recently just had its first mot with me since purchasing. The garage i took it to phoned me a few hours later to say it had failed on emissions and that such a new car shouldn't fail on emissions, let alone one thats been bought in the last year. It cost me all in all nearly £500 to repair. I have since come across others who have had cars fail their first mot after purchasing from gmo. Avoid them like the plague.

Having purchased a number of cars from GMO Penzance, I can't speak highly enough about the service I have received. I have just bought a fantastic little VW Golf for my son, the car was presented in showroom condition with having had a comprehensive service and full MOT carried out. Front brake pads were a bit low so they replaced them as well as the discs, also replacing the front tyres which were legal but the sales team offered to sort at no extra cost to myself. I chose to take out an extended warranty on the vehicle as I like to have the reasurance that if i have a breakdown then I know I have cover. On a previous vehicle I purchased from GMO, I had the misfortune of a windscreen wiper issue after owning the car for more than 8 months. I called the workshop and spoke to their service manager who tried to diagnose the fault for me over the phone as I wasn't in Cornwall at the time. Unfortunately he was unable to sort out so he promptly booked my car in for repair. I was kept informed throughout the repair and once fixed I collected car with no cost as covered by warranty. The sales team are extremely helpful and make the purchase of a car a very pleasurable experience, both Rob and Gary will go out or their way to help and advise you on your purchase, if they don't have what you are looking for they will go that extra mile to source the vehicle you want for the right price. Having read some of the negative feedback on the garage, I find it impossible to believe. I have recommended this dealer to my friends and they have had the same experience that I have had. I think the volume of car sales speaks for itself, go down and give them a try and you will not be disappointed!

I've purchased a few cars from this garage, the last one 12 months ago. My A4 Avant came with a two year warranty, it had some minor paint defects that were brought to my attention and were put right as promised. The car was presented beautifully clean on the day of collection. About 6 months later the car developed a water leak, I contacted GMO and they happily authorized for me to take it to a local Audi service center. The water leak was caused by a faulty water pump which in turn caused water damage to the timing belt and pulleys. AVS Service centre who I used contacted the warranty company and they agreed to cover the full cost of the repair with out a quibble! GMO pride themselves on customer service, I tend to agree. Well done.

I don't usually leave reviews but felt compelled to do so after receiving exemplary service from the team at GMO. My Audi developed a small, intermittent fault so I dropped in unannounced to arrange a check up. They performed a full diagnostic there and then while I waited, ordered the part and had the car back in for it to be fitted in no time at all. A faultless service in my opinion and a testament to what is clearly a very well run and cohesive team.

Had a terrible experience with GMO last year. Paid over the odds for a used VW Golf under the impression that if anything went wrong i could take it back. They have a good front of house set up which makes you believe they are a professional outfit. This disguise soon fades once anything goes wrong and you try to claim on the warranty. 'At GMO the customer is always wrong'. Not felt this angry for a long time.

My wife purchased a Renault Espace some time ago it was a used vehicle and once we paid for it and got about 50 yards down the road it broke down. We went back to the garage but they wasn't interested no repair no nothing. If you are thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this dealer BE AWARE DO NOT BUY there warranties, they are useless, they will offer no help or assistance once they have took your money. The car was a pile of junk and never again would we ever purchase from them neither would we ever recommend them to anyone, and that includes a worst enemy.
