Expressed an interest in cash buy for a vehicle up for sale and have heard absolutely nothing from them. Tried to visit branch to view the car and not a trace of Gosforth park motor co on site!! Emailed and left voicemails and still nothing. Very odd way to conduct business so with that in mind, you’ve just lost a sale. SMELLS DODGY DEALER TO ME
Sold me a unroadworthy Hyundai car, did not want to know, clutch went in first week, rear suspension had leaking shock absorbers and knocking noise on rear, brakes were unroadworthy pads were worn right down, headlight out, rear number plate lights out all this and it somehow passed a full not done by them totally ripped me off with a 4 grand, avoid this garage

The entire process has been a nightmare. Firstly, the car was not serviced as promised. They were not interested in sorting after the event. Six weeks into owning the car, which I paid £7000 for, the breaks completely failed and the steering column was shot. £950 bill to fix, not covered my their excuse of a warranty. Avoid this company at all costs. They sell old cars that have multiple issues and will do the bare minimum to pass it. Avoid! Dishonest!
The car they sold us has many faults. When queried they took it back to fix, but can't provide any paperwork to verify because "we do a lot of cars a week and don't know where the papers are kept". The issues they fixed are still present. Had the issues verified by an independent garage who confirmed the work done to scrape it past its MOT was shoddy. Classic old school second hand car cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

Will sell you a car that requires a lot of work as long as it scrapes by it's mot. Then when issues are brought up you at treated like an inconvenience and drag their feet. Do Not deal with these people! 0 stars!

We got a 70 pound parking fine but no cant be sure was them, bring it up i pay it, they didnt its left to husband too, 100% i followed hubby off to drop car off night before, the following day his car parked in a disabled bay outside bank at gosforth on a friday, they dont drive customers cars about, must fly in the air to get to destination to get work done ✅. We stuck with it now 👎
Called whilst passing and expressed interest in a Smart for Two as a possible purchase for my daughter. First call just to have a quick look. Second call without prior notification. Very helpful on both occasions and test drive without prior notification. Very helpful. Keen to let me see the service and maintenance history. I will be back soon as I feel that this dealer is a decent one to deal with.

I recently enquired about a car by text which isn't such a new concept being the 21st century, after sending this I was faced with a reply of "I don't deal by text" which he then proceeded to tell me how easy it is to phone and ask over the phone, not the attitude of someone that is going to gain your trust to buy a car for 1.5k

To be fair to the dealer a text is a somewhat informal and non personal form of contact when a phone call should be just as easy and a demonstration of serious enquiry and intent. I am of the view that reviews of this form and intended effect are common to a certain type of individual and should be ignored. Best practice - deal with the dealer on a personal contact basis and you receive personal service. This review response is made by a potential customer who received very polite and helpful assistance and a test drive on request when calling on site without an appointment.
Whoever is spoke to at Gosforth Park Motor Company should be ashamed of himself. Said I am not his customer even though I was enquiring about a car. Same model went for about 350 pounds cheaper in other garages. Rude uneducated ignorant man going.
