I bought my Saab from Harvey Lane Car Sales and Traded in my old car. I found James the salesman pleasent, non pushy and very accomodating to deal with. All work to be carried out on my new car to get it ready for collection was completed on time and all as agreed with great comunication. A hassle free change of car. I would definately go there again.

Would just like to say how happy I am with the overall procedure at Harvey Lane Car Sales, my car (Vauxhall Astra) has been fantastic as of yet with no problems, and the car was ready for me in just 3 days after the purchase which was handy as I needed the car asap! Would recommend to anyone.
Bought a VW car on the 24th December 2016 from Harvey Lane Car Sales. I had a test drive and noticed the brake light was on all the time; the salesman said it was due to new brake pads being fitted. I continued with the sale and part exchanged our car. I was told by Harvey Lane Car Sales that the VW came with one year MOT but not until Mid January of 2017. Surprise surprise i got a call the next day saying that the car was ready with new MOT, and did the part exchange. The brake light was still on in the VW. I contacted the salesman via phone, who suggested driving the car back to Norwich to sort the problem. His Mechanic, Harvey Lane, put 1.5L of brake fluid in and said vehicle should be okay, it wasn't okay. I contacted the salesman, who arranged recovery and repairs as we had no brakes at all. The damage was on the rear side brake caliper; the salesman paid for this repair. We then asked our trusted Mechanic to check the vehicle, The faults he found were: 1. Anti roll bar bushes worn out (MOT Failure) 2. Stabilizer link bars (x2) worn out (MOT Failure) 3. Track Rod end (Driver side) worn out (MOT Failure) 4. Headlights (Driver side) were facing skywards, Passenger side head light shone on the floor (MOT Failure) We have spent £300.00 of our own money to make this vehicle safe and legal. My suggestion would be to employ a professional Mechanic and be careful where he takes cars for MOT, we have all the parts that have been replaced. The vehicle was not returned under warranty as we did not trust any work done by their Mechanic.

First of all I would like to say I wasn't open xmas eve and also we don't work on xmas day as well. Also I never sold a v.w in December. The person has not named themselves either. This should not be allowed to happen. All are cars are moted professionally. Jealousy is such a terrible thing. You should be ashamed of yourself for writing such lies. Regards, The Manager.
Disgruntled Customer in response to VW Review
First of all, i am not lying as i have the purchase receipt dated on the 24th December 2016, which i received via the chip and pin machine in the showroom, given to me by the manager. The manager also taxed the vehicle using his own credit card and was given the cash in person to cover the cost of the tax. The date of this receipt confirms the sale of the V.W as 24th December 2016, and thus confirms that you were in fact open and that you sold a V.W. Also out of curiosity, what am i supposed to be jealous of? I have nothing to be ashamed or jealous of as i only speak the truth. Thank you for your response.

How absolutely unprofessional the manager is to respond with such rudeness to someone that handed them their most probably hard earned money I will not be buying a car from there now thanks for the information.
This was an easy, smooth purchase which went like clockwork from leaving a deposit on the car to delivery.we got a good price on are old vehicle as well. All in all the correspondence with Harvey Lane was excellent and professional.
Not knowing much about cars I was nervous about finding the right dealer.A friend recommended Harvey Lane Car Sales where I found a lovely Audi avant estate car which suited me and my Labrador. Over the moon with the car and the service. Thanks to the team.
Purchased a Peugeot 207 in March 2016, at the beginning I was very happy with the service I received when I purchased the car. There was damage on the passenger side wing mirror and I was guaranteed a replacement. over the past 3 months I have contacted staff at Harvey Lane several times and even visited the show room to chase up the repair, every time I was told that it was being dealt or the manager was dealing with it with but the repair has still not complete. last contact was on the 24th June (2 weeks) I was told the part had been ordered, have heard nothing since. The staff seem very professional and helpful at the time of sale but seems now they have no interest in replacing the part which has now left me with no choice having to pay for it myself, I feel it will never be resolved. As some one who has no experience and knowledge of cars I'm disappointed as I put my trust in people of a company to keep their guarantee and feel I have been taken advantage off Be interesting to see the response to this post!
James from Harvey Lane Car Sales in response to Broken Promices
The customer who purchased this vehicle is correct I did promise her another mirror at my expense. The mirror does work it just has small part missing. The reason it has taking a while is because I have been in hospital and then we had a huge bearevment in the family. But after saying this if the said customer would like to come in I will give her £40 for a new mirror. I am now back at work. Kind Regards The manager

We have purchased from here and never had a problem.I suggest who ever wrote this should do there homework before judging. And yes sometimes in life we do have bad luck which we know this was the case.We are all judged in the end by the big man.
Recently returning from Spain I needed a vehicle immediately and after trying several second hand car sales I found a vehicle at Harvey Lane Garage which suited my requirements as well as my pocket, purchased with a 3month warrenty. The owner James Powles told me that if I had any problems or not happy with the vehicle to get in touch with him. Everything was good for 6 weeks then I had problems with the turbo so I contacted James, who dealt with the problem very efficiently and supplied a courtesy car whilst the repair was carried out, which I understand was very costly. I was very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend this garage.
I bought a car from this dealer at a good price but it lasted 1000 miles. The owner, who is the most unpleasant and unprofessional person I have ever come across, said that he could not do anything as it was out of warranty (by 1 week!). Very disappointed by Harvey Lane Car Sales.

This customer purchased a vehicle from us which was sold with a 3 month warranty in this period she had some issues which were rectified as we all ways do.What we cant do is to keep extending warrantys and pay to keep every bodys cars on the road but what we do do is stand on are warranty terms. As far as being rude to customers we do not act in this way either in fact the customer was very rude to us.The said car had a faulty sensor on the exhaust which caused no running problems what so ever.If the car was still in warranty this would have been repaired, Kind Regards The Manager
