Thank you for shopping at Hearsall common car sales.
We have just bought our second car from Hearsall Common Cars and are very happy with the service we received and the quality of the car and the price paid. Theres no pushy sales tactics and they have a great selection of cars. Its a very busy garage with lots going on but we felt we had a good connection with the sales guys. Overall a great experience and i would highly recommend to anyone.

Thank you for your kind words.
Purchased Mini Cooper end of April 2018 from Hearsall Common Car Sales with fresh 12 month M.O.T & Safety Check. Paid extra for a Service (£69) & 6 Month Used Car Warranty (£100). - found 2 chips in windscreen on getting car home. Returned to garage who denied they were ever there on point of sale. Cost of one new windscreen to me (chips not repairable). - within 3 days of purchase Front AND Back brakes ceased up – pads completely worn and needed replacing. - few weeks later, still getting a persistent noise in back wheel so took it to my own garage for a checkover. Diagnosed as wheel bearings worn and hub needed replacing. HOWEVER, on removing the wheel found both rear suspension arms badly bent as a result of major accident damage (probably causing wheel bearing damage in first place), making the car unsafe. Also found: - all 4 tyres barely legal - brake discs corroded - oil & anti-freeze levels at minimal level So, - a valid M.O.T should have flagged worn brakes, windscreen, wheel bearings, and bent suspension arms, but has glossed over them all to the point of being almost fraudulent. - Paid for a service yet low oil, low anti-freeze, no stamp in service history booklet & no updated service reset on computer (doubt this service was ever completed) - Worn brake pads replaced, corroded brake discs ignored. - Damage to suspension arms ignored (they had this wheel off to replace brake pads but did nothing about it). In summary so far repairs have cost me nearly £300 (not including windscreen & 4 tyres) and the car sold with worn brakes & seriously damaged suspension was not only unroadworthy but unsafe. If I hadn’t had it checked over (& repaired) by an Independent Garage, who knows what could have happened. Complained twice by email and once using a template letter from Consumer Advice (sent & signed for Recorded Delivery), but they have ignored all. No apology, no reply, no reimbursement. Disgraceful company, awful customer service, complete charlatans, reported to Trading Standards. The more I mention this company the more I hear of bad experiences with them. Absolutely diabolical.

Staff from Hearsall Common Car Sales in response to AVOID! – Reported to Trading Standards
Hi Mr Harris sorry you feel you have had to leave an unfavourable review of your recent purchase of you 12 year old Mini Cooper. Purchased in May 2018, As already explained to your self on the telephone you are more than welcome to bring you car into us for a full inspection to ascertain if any of the alleged faults are present with your vehicle at any time, I understand that you had taken your car that had been mot'ed some 4 days earlier to a friends garage who managed to sell you x4 tyres and two suspension link bars that he advised you was illegal, Altho the car had only just been mot'ed by an independent garage some days earlier you felt it prudent to replace these items without any contact with ourselves or to notify any other governing bodies i.e VOSA to question the validity of the mot. I strongly believe that if you feel these items where illegal you would have contacted VOSA and had the vehicle reinspected or at least called us to let us know as you live only some 400 meters from our premises. I'm sure you can understand that you simply cannot send us an inflated invoice for some alleged works that you have authorised on your vehicle after your friend had advised you to replace these parts and expect us to foot the bill without any prior notification, or even the chance to inspect the car. I am sorry we have not managed to meet your demands for a payment and if theres anything else we can help you with in the future please do not hesitate to contact us. Regards.

Dear Hearsall Common Car Sales, Firstly my name is not Mr Harris and you have never spoken to me on the phone about the issue. I have emailed you twice and sent letters signed for (twice) that you have ignored and never responded to. The car was returned for repairs to the brakes which you did, but you did not repair the bent suspension arms which were found at a later date as I took it for an independent check to a reputable garage due to continued problems where the repairs were made (and the Warranty you sold me did not cover the repairs). I did not take the car to a "friend" for an MOT, you provided the MOT, I took the car to a garage that has been well established and used by me for over 20 years to check the car over, they did not "manage to sell me tyres & suspension arms". I provided you with photo evidence of the bent suspension arms which I still have should you wish to see them. Tyres were replaced at a tyre dealership. The garage I used has been nothing but helpful and isn't trying to stitch you or me up, just point out the faults. The MOT provided by you was obviously not worth the paper it was written on. The service I was charged for never completed. The first I have heard from you is via the CarBuyingAdvisor site who told me you tried to get my bad review removed by claiming not only that you never sold me this car, but that all the faults were lies. You have never as much as apologised or offered any If you consider it good company practice to call your customers liars and to sell them faulty & dangerous cars and then deny doing so, that is just appalling. Your response here is just one lie after another.
Just want to say a big thank you to Jonathan and the staff for the way they dealt with the problem i noticed after buying my Freelander. The rear passenger window would not open or close. The regulator was broken. My wife brought the car over and within an hour a new regulator was sourced and fitted no charge and she was on her way home. Well done lads, another satisfied customer.

Thank you for your kind words.
What a great place with lovely professional sales men, we went here after trying several car sales places and to our amazement we were not hounded as we walked through the the gates. We were aloud to walk around and look at the cars. I found one I liked and both shane and Johnathon we're both very helpful, we returned the following day and we was taken for a. Test drive. I was so impressed with the car that I brought it. They even got there mechanic to come and answer some questions for us. I'd like to say Thankyou to both shane, Johnathon and the mechanic, they are a credit to the company and I would highly recomend them to anyone looking for a good and affordable car, there is plenty to choose from and I would defiantly return. Thanks shane and Johnathon from Emma and Ray

Aftersales from Hearsall Common Car Sales in response to A great car at a great price.
Thank you for shopping at Hearsall common car sales.
Bought a big old Lexus RX400h from them. Initial price price was reasonable. Started to negotiate and Julian - the salesman - looked really sad. "We don't negotiate here as the prices are as low as we can go.." Erm, this is a large used car site! It's all about negotiation, buddy! So he eventually dropped the price by a lot: £1000 on a £5000 car. Threw in a 6/12 guarantee (which will cost the dealership pants). Then gave us a good trade in deal on our old Honda CRV. A used car dealership needs to make at least £1000 on any sale. I think we got a decent deal. But I'll be right back on this site if the Lexus goes wrong! TIP: Don't be afraid to bargain HARD - and walk away if you don't get the deal you want.
