Great service from Rupert, being in the motor trade his vehicles are really well priced. I did have a small issue which was resolved instantly. Very happy customer who wouldn’t think twice about referring friends and family to High field vans.

I called high field vans regarding a 64 plate transit. As I was travelling from Glasgow to view it (3.5 hours one way) I asked for an honest description of the van. I was told 1 owner, FSH, clean van only thing was small bit of trim missing. Upon arriving and looking over the van I was given a document pack and ignored. While looking over the van there was numerous small dents and paint chips, the drivers door wouldn’t shut properly and the wing was touching the door causing the paint to be chipped full length of the wing (suggesting front end damage repair). Looking through the documents I noticed it wasn’t 1 owner as previous owner bought in 2018. The hpi came back with a security watch warning also. That could be ok depending situation, however when questioned on this he pretended he had no idea what it was (sells vans daily but has no idea what this is 😂)Also when asked about the owners he tried saying that the previous owner had bought the first owners company including fleet. Total nonsense. The service history he handed me was on an a4 bit of paper. Zero stamps in logbook. When asked he said that was normal to have it on paper. I told him I could print that off the computer. There was a a checklist that the previous company done before selling the van that had all green ticks but the one in red regarding a drive belt having play was scored out with black marker 😂. He offered us a test drive but insisted on driving out and for me to drive back. 2 mins after leaving the yard there was an engine management light on and a message displaying check engine now. Then service now. I just told him to turn the van round and head back. At which point he speeded up, clearly in a petulant huff that I never turned up blindfolded. Complete waste of my time (8 hours round trip). Anybody considering buying a van from here has to swerve this guy unless you want a laugh or ripped off.

ALL VANS AT HIGHFIELDVANS LTD ARE HPI CHECKED AND CLEARED BEFORE RETAIL SALE. SOME USED VANS WILL HAVE MINOR MARKS TO THE BODY WORK. IF THIS WAS A TRUE STATEMENT THE REVIEWER WOULD REFER TO ME (RUPERT) . I BELIEVE THIS REVIEW HAS BEEN PLACED BY A LOCAL COMPETITOR VAN DEALER AND THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO GET IT REMOVED. I HAVE COME TO THIS ASSUMPTION AS IT IS NOT VERIFIED THROUGH A INVOICE WITH HIGHFIELDVANS,RUPERT FOSTER OWNER HIGHFIELDVANS
Upon reading other negative reviews it is clear to see that this company lacks common morals and business ethics. I called to enquire about two vans, discussed specifics with Rupert who confirmed that both vehicles were still available and agreed to hold both vehicles for me as I was a 3 hour round trip away. When I arrived at exactly the time I specified I would be there, both vans did not exist. One he said had sold the day before, but offered no real explanation as to where the other one was. Both were advertised live on his website and are still there now. When I briefly expressed how disappointed I was and merely hinted at the cost he had unnecessarily incurred to me, he quickly became very aggressive, ordering me to leave his yard immediately. As I was leaving he continued to hurl abusive comments and names at me in front of my wife and two young children (4 and 6 years old.) This man is a horrible excuse for a human being, and operates a business to be avoided at all times. Do not support Rupert and his business “Highfield Vans”.

HIGHFIELD VANS WILL NOT TOLERATE ABUSIVE AND THREATING LANGUAGE TO ARE STAFF. MR JOHN WAS VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO ARE NIGAL ARE SALES ASSISTANT. I HAD NO OPTION BUT TO CALL NORTH YORKSHIRE POLICE AFTER MR JOHN ERUPTED IN TO A RAGE AFTER I TOLD HIM THAT I THOUGHT HE WAS ASKING ABOUT THE MWB SPRINTERS WE HAD IN ARE YARD AND HE TOLD ME HE WANTED THE LWB THAT WE HAD SOLD A WEEK AGO TOTALLY OVER THE TOP THAT IS WHY I ASK HIM TO LEAVE AFTER GIVING ME VERBAL ABUSE. HE WAS THE 1 USING THE F WORD IN FRONT OF HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN I KNOW BECAUSE WE HAVE IT ON CCTV THAT I HAVE SHARED WITH NYP. SO ALL I CAN SAY IS BEWARE ANY BODY ELSE TRYING IT ON WITH HIGHFIELD VANS STAFF YOUR REG NO AND YOUR DETAILS WILL BE PASSED TO NYP AND A CRIME NO WILL BE GENERATED ENJOY MR JOHN
Spoke to guy on the phone , seemed very pleasant , when arrived seem pleasant also , as so as I mentioned about a couple of things to check as instructed by my regular mechanic, he got very offensive, and said my mechanic didn't f......g no what he was talking about , so I would not use this guy very ignorant

The most unprofessional business in the world. I've been calling all week to check and confirm before I went to view a van as I'm halfway they said that someone else is going to view it and she wont let me buy it even if I get there first. I was willing to reserve it over the phone with a deposit which they refused. The stupidest most pathetic pair of people you will ever meet in your life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

MAXINE WAS ONLY TRYING TO TELL MR MOHAMMED THAT A DEPOSIT HAD ALREADY BEEN TAKEN FOR THAT VAN AND IT WAS HIGHFIELD VANS POLICY TO HONOUR THAT DECISION TO THAT CUSTOMER. MAXINE WAS VERY FRIGHTENED AND UPSET BY MR MOHAMMED ATTIUDE AND LANGUAGE.
Bought transit tipper off Rupert, really pleased with it so far Rupert was not pushy & very obliging, my brother has bought 2 vehicles from Rupert & is also happy to recommend Highfield vans. Derek.

I bought a one owner, 110,000mile full service history van from Highfield vans , that turned out to be a 3 owner 119,000 mile , no service history vehicle. When asked why it was advertised as a fsh but had none his reply was “ what do you want me to do magic service history up for you”.The van engine management light came on within 10 miles of leaving his premises, I took it back the next day for his so called mechanic to look at , 4 days later he said the van was ready , I picked it up again and within 10 miles the EML light came on again , once again I took it back , he said he’d ring when it was ready, after no contact after 3 days I rung him and he said it was all done. For The third time I trailed over To bring the van away being assured by him that the issues were all sorted. Within the usual 10 miles the engine lights were back on. I decided to drop it in at the local garage , they did a diagnostic test on the vehicle and it came up with numerous engine faults. CHECK EMMISSIONS CHECK INJECTORS CHECK BREAK WEAR 6 more faults with codes relating to the above ones. They also confirmed via the engine fault finder that nothing had been done to rectify any of these faults , so in fact every time I took the vehicle back , it sat in the his yard not being touched. I took the van back the fourth time to get my money back. This so called dealer seems to buy these vans in , sell them on without any checks , cross his fingers that nothing untoward happens within the 31 days warranty . The second time I took the van back I had just put £30 of fuel in it, when I went to pick it up it was dry , I had to bend his arm up his back for some fuel money to get me to the Petrol station, he gave me a tenner. I have had to cancel my insurance on this van lost 2 months road tax on it as the week I had it ,crossed over into a second month. Total loss, £90 cancellation fee, £40 road tax , £30 in diesel . Plus all my time running back and forth to his yard to take the van back. Any goodwill gesture? Not a chance. I had to wait a week to get my money back.

We were disappointed with the comments made about us at Highfield vans but we always offer a full 100 % refund if the customer is not fully satisfied with our vehicles on sale at any time. This customer put £30 of the wrong fuel in the van that is why the CHECK EMMISSIONS CHECK INJECTORS light came on 10 miles after buying it. The local garage had to drain the fuel tank but it was too late it had wrecked the injectors and fuel pump. The total invoice was £1565.87p plus vat that we had to stand through driver error.
