I had a disappointing experience with Jan Autos Limited. Despite their assurance that previous advisories were addressed, my recent MOT revealed unresolved issues, including worn rear passenger seat belts and a crack in the windscreen. Subsequently, I had to spend an additional £220 for necessary repairs to meet TFL licensing requirements. When seeking reimbursement, the dealership refused any involvement. Beware of misleading positive reviews; my encounter suggests they lack integrity and customer support. Avoid this dealer.

Total Joke!!! These guys showed a car (White Fiat 500) then agreed price, we paid in full and then just for health check took them a week, finally some clown comes to drop it off and no recovery truck, he's racing the car in the street, the car shows up with damaged body work, massive sill crush due to jacks on the body instead of chassis, rang this dealership and the completely denied. Also during purchase was told they will give health check report (taking them over a week) check for timing belt replacement and a receipt of broken drop link but nothing! range them twice and been told the owner is gone on holiday now and just silence! we will be taking this to financial ombudsman and would not recommend this place to anyone.

We got a Peugeot 3008 from JAN AUTOS on finance online. It was listed on Autotrader. The car was delivered. It looked very good outside and in. Only the engine part seemed to be very dusty. However after a couple of days we realised the car has no power. It would also randomly stop and seemed very heavy and hard to accelerate. Also it wouldn't drive more than 60mph even though the gas pedal was pressed down to the ground! We decided to check the car at a garage and we were shocked to be shown LITERALLY 8 pages of faults that have shown on the computer. The mechanic told us that these were removed manually,so they weren't visible on car screen. This car was a wreck, as if a tornado went through it on the inside. It was dangerous to drive,as everything in it was faulty including the engine itself,as well as airbags and seatbelts. As soon as we found out we called JAN AUTOS to say that we wish to use our 2 weeks guarantee and return the car asap. Unfortunately they weren't cooperative and didn't want to take the car back. We were told over the phone 'Why would I sell you a faulty car?!'. Additionally we have been told that if we believe the car is faulty then we have to drive it back to Luton (over 80 miles)and they will test drive it with us to see whether there is anything wrong. Of course when we got to Luton one of the advisors -apparently a 'Manager' went to test drive the car on his own after which he came back in and took a computer with him and went out again. He came back after roughly another 10 minutes to say that there is nothing wrong with the car according to him. He also said that he is not a mechanic and we can leave the car and wait for info the day after as his mechanic can check it for us. We were told the mechanic will be there when we arrive on the day,but of course no sign of him. Also we were not willing to keep the car,as we already knew from our mechanic that it is unroadworthy. Mr. Manager then said that if we wish to return the car he will charge us per driven mile and take it off our deposit,which is also illegal. After they sold us this vehicle they still had the AUDACITY to ask us for milage money. They are liers,fraudsters and take advantage of people! They also abuse Consumer Rights!Be aware and DO NOT buy cars from this place. Luckily we have managed to get our money back after locking a legal complaint agaist them through the finance company. Please use our experience as a precaution and do not make the same mistake as us. Driving such a faulty car could cost you your or your loved ones life !

Recently bought a Kia Sportage. Sale was ok despite some difficulty locating the advertised service history. A few days after buying the car we noticed a patch that was grey primered. We must have missed it because the car is grey and its was a sunny weekend when we bouggt it. I contacted Jan Motors numerous times and despite promises to look into it got a complete blank. So i can only assume they are not a business that cares about their reputation or customer care just shifting cars as quickly as possible. You have been warned.

No words for this company! ! Got to the dealership after two hours travelling, they knew I was coming, the car was not ready, waited there 5 hours! The next day I broke down the two exhausts on the car was not working and multiple issues with the engine AA towed it back to them, they just put the phone down on me because they keep lieing staring they’ve transferred the money back, I’ve taxed and insured the car paid them money and now left having to pay out to get my kids about !! AVOID so rude and literally disrespectful

Car was mis-sold, suppose to have a new MOT only had 7 days, constant mechanical faults. Ignorant and unhelpful sales staff.

Awful company , sold me a faulty car even tho they state all cars are good condition and have minimum 6 months mot. Took my car to mot after 3 months even tho go they said it had at least 6 months and my car failed the mot and I now have to pay a big bill due to the faulties. I called jan autos and told them about the problem and they wouldn’t even listen to the problem , they just kept talking over me and ended up ending the call on me. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place I now have to pay £2300 in repairs that weren’t stated to me when I purchased the car.

How can a fraud operation like this exist. Bought the car under “aa 6 month warranty” and that the car was covered, so was driving it home after paying 25k for the car and it broke down about 20 mins in. Rang up jan autos and they said it’s not there problem and that I would have to get a recovery truck. Payed £350 for a recovery truck to take it to jan autos and they said that I must of been driving the car like it was a race car. Cut story short I’m taking legal action as the car is Actually a cat S and had been in a accident but jan autos didn’t mention this at all and blamed it on me.
