So so bad, the people working at this branch have no idea what customer service is, aimed at people on the front desk
10 out of 10 experience and professionalism from Ben and the rest of the team. Ben was not only helpful but also extremely personable and honest. We couldn’t of asked for anymore.
Sold me a defective car, and refuse to take it back unless i pay a hefty sum to them? The general manager is happy to ignore complaints and let his staff try fix it when its above their pay grade. The service has been beyond shocking in several ways. They are borderline criminal, your better off paying privately than using this dealership. Absolutely shocking service, i wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy. They need a change of management big time!!!

I put my car into body shop for repair, Nat made the whole experience easy as was very helpful and could not do enough. Would recommend putting your car in to the body shop if you have Nat helping you.
It was my first ever time buying a car as I am a new driver, Ian looked after me from the start. I didn't come into the branch with my dad, partner, friend, I came in on my own and I was slightly anxious due to knowing what 'Car salesman' are like. Ian made me feel comfortable the whole way through my journey with Mercedes and actually, he felt like a very caring dad to me that had taken his daughter to get their first car. I honestly can not express my gratitude for Ian and the way he treated me. I felt safe and as though he had my best interests at heart, he never made me feel pressured or like I HAD to take a car away that day, which actually, wasn't even in my plan, I went to do a test drive. I will return back to Mercedes for every car I get and will 110% recommend these guys. One thing Ian said to me is that if he wouldn't sell the car to his wife or daughter, he wouldn't sell it to me, and that right there was enough for me to feel safe with him. He didn't at any point 'Sell', as his presence was enough. He was extremally informative, didn't pressure me and just an all round GEM!! At the end of the sale, I was passed over to Charlie, who made me feel like I was the only one in the show room, she was very compassionate, complimentary and had the patience of a saint, due to me having to do some work myself whilst I was there. I honestly couldn't fault not one thing with my experience and thank them from the bottom of my heart for how well they have treated and supported me. Thanks guys! You all deserve a BONUS!!! - Aby
Me and my family go into the showroom to have a look at some cars and decide on best options , but all we get is lazy staff not even looking our way to help and service despite sitting at their desks browsing phones.. Absolutely useless! We couldn’t find a car we wanted to look at in the showroom in Mercedes Lakeside so we went ourselves to the desk to ask if the car was available to look at. The very inexperienced staff at the desk was so lazy to help us, she just told us to “go outside the car might be in the car park”. So we went outside and didn’t find the car. We went back inside to talk to the same person at the desk to let her know that it’s not outside and if there was somewhere else where we could find the model we’re look for. She didn’t help at all and just told us to look online yourselves. What kind of customer service is this!!!, we’re coming to buy a car and you treat us like we’re not even there. I will never in my life suggest buying a Mercedes at this miserable branch to anyone I know. Hopeless!!!!
1. Poor Customer Services don't accept anything more. 2. Unprofessional attitude whilst dealing with customers. 3. They lie about getting things sorted and never keep to their word. 4. Staff are abrupt and rude. 5. Miserable staff that work there, hope it closes down soon. 6. Booked my car for MOT in October 2021, they registered my car with the wrong number plate. Therefore not MOT'd making my Insurance invalid up until I taxed my car few months later, it showed my car was not MOT'd. Paperwork all wrong. No one is every available to deal with anything. They are all so VERY busy PEOPLE. i was promised a goodwill gesture.......what goodwill......!! 6. Lack of professional staff right from the top. Put a complaint ...what complaint never gets resolved. 7. Staff claim they are over worked and no one is ever available to deal with enquires / services / issues or concerns from their clients. Disappointed and I feel sorry for clients living in Essex who have to deal with them.

We purchased our car back in August 2020. Well understandable during pandemic, weird but purchase experience was fine. Everything and all bad experience came later. At purchase point was agreed that Sales assistant will book us in for installation of CarPlay with Braybrooks, when we will have time. Month and a half later, we contacted our Sales advisor, to do the installation of CarPlay and to rectify damage on the back of the car, which was presented on point if sale (we were promised that day when we will collect the car this will be fixed, but it wasn't) and also to do a wheel alignment, our own initiative. We first contacted MB Lakeside on 6th of October 2020 and booked appointment for wheel alignment for 12/11/2020. In the meantime we were contacting our Sales adviser to book rest of the issues to be fixed. And agreed with him that wheel alignmen will be done earlier than 12/11/2020 as he was able to fit us in, and arrange Braybrooks CarPlay installation done on 09/11/2020. So happy everything can be finally rectified. We agreed the day, and it was well difficult. As we live far away, we agreed to drop car on the 8th of November 2020 at MB Lakeside on Sunday But hey ho... We arrived to MB Lakeside at 11am, and guess what's happened? The dealership was closed. Gates closed. Noone is waiting for us, no emails or phone calls to tell us that they are closed. We drove 35 miles one way, we wasted time and nerves. We called customer service same day, and they told us that we are not booked for anything. And that there is no information at all about our arrival, we put a Complain over the phone, and been promised that Manager of MB Lakeside will contact us ASAP, but it's been 9 months, and we haven't heard back anything. Not even apologies. It's absolutely unacceptable behaviour from all staff including managerial positions not to react on Complaints. I understand the Pandemic situation and etc, but not to respond on complaint, not try to contact customer that appointment is cancelled or something like that shows very bad customer service. I would never recommend anyone MB Lakeside. As 9 months later we still have ongoing issues, which has not been fixed, AT POINT OF SALE in August 2020.

Lies, Lies and more Lies, said they had ordered a part needed for my car, 8 weeks later having told me that it is still in Germany, it transpires it's in stock and sitting on a shelf with no allocation, they couldn't even transfer an internal call and when having to call again, they couldn't put me through...a bunch of disengaged employees who are not aware of the dealerships core values...joke?
We were welcomed to the Mercedes family when we bought our B class in Jan 2020. Two recalls later we have got a warning light come up. I take these seriously and checked what it means. To Mercedes Lakeside it needs a repair and they will do it in September!!! Our local garage, very dependable but sadly do not sell cars, can do it in a week but even though we still in warranty Mercedes will not pay to get the repair done earlier. We live in Essex and they recommend a visit to Dartford.
