Great bike shop. Well worth a visit. I read these reviews and had doubts so I visited the shop and was so pleased I did.. The shop is a great place to visit not just for buying a bike even in lock down. Bought my mv rr dragster straight away at a good price. Thanks. Steve

Great team, purchased a KTM from here, delivery arranged to Northern Ireland, few issues on arrival but the guys quickly sorted them, pleasant friendly and efficient

Do not buy from Jemspeed !!. Paid in full for a bike but it took them 25 days to deliver it, when it arrive the engine wouldn't run properly. The delivery deriver spent over an hour telling me "this is how it's supposed to be" "they're always like this, in other words, he lied to me. I returned it and it took another 14 days until I got annoyed and sent an email saying "where the F**K is my bike", they replied that they would deliver it the next Thursday (44 days after I paid for it). When I to be compensated for the delay, the boss email me saying that I was "rude and abusive" in my e-mail and cancelled my order. The only thing they got right is the speed of the refund, but I only think they did that because they knew I was planning a bad review.

I recently purchased a 2015 RSV4 RF from Jems, initially i was put off by these shocking reviews. I also did highlight this to Josh and Tim who looked after me. However through some reassurance i decided to buy the bike. I bought the bike blind and it was delivered free of charge due to where i live. So ill start with the positives, The bike was as described, the paperwork and service history is in order and delivery went as planned. The bikes since done 300 miles and all seems great. Negatives, Now this me being completely honest, The 2 issues i have is the way they were on the phone calls, they seemed very uninterested and at one point someone was eating whilst speaking to me, its just not professional. The bike just wasn't very clean when it arrived, there was white tyre lube on both tyres where they had been replaced. Again something so simple as making sure its clean before the customer gets it. For me its about pride, in anything I've ever done I've always been taught to take pride in it so to get a bike that's not clean was just disappointing. Ultimately my overall experience was fine, if i was in the market again i wouldn't hesitate to buy another bike from them. Hopefully constructive reviews may help shape them to give customers a better experience in the future. But by no means are they the worst bike dealer. Far from it. Best of luck to Jems for the future.

Bike had more owners than stated, no MOT, worn tyres, new chain put on old sprockets, awful condition, was supposed to have been serviced. No paper work to reflect what had been done. Contacted Jems Speed Shop, may times, to request that they pick the bike up and return the purchase price, this was in excess of £12000 all within their stated 30 period. It took two solicitors letters and the threat of court action to get them, 3 months later to pick the bike up and return the money. They used the COVID excuse, but were still selling and delivering bikes during this period. This episode of having anything to do with Jems Speed Shop has cost over £500. Do NOT believe a word they say! They are scumbags!!!

I have been let down by this dealer. I made mistake of relying on the photos and description on Autotrader before leaving a deposit for delivery. Despite the stated mileage being a low 800 it was in shocking condition and had been ridden recently. The bike bore no relation to its pictures or description and did not have a leather seat or quilted grips as described. Also, despite the dealer promising to send me all documents including HPI check before delivery they sent none. My own HPI check revealed the mileage to be understated from its last MOT. Paintwork was flaking and peeling everywhere due to a poor customisation and even the delivery driver admitted the photos on site had been taken several months ago. I refused the bike due to too many discrepancies but the dealer is now refusing to return my deposit and is not answering correspondence. Reported to Trading Standards for mileage irregularity. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARNED

Just took delivery of a Ducati Monster 1200r bike was as described. I was nervous about paying up front before delivery. All in all very happy 😎

"Day 336 - finally got satisfaction! "

Bought a MotoGuzzi Stelvio over the phone - fully checked over, serviced and excellent condition according to Jem speed................. what a joke!!! Arrived 20th August 2019, 10 days after I paid in full. Kept it off the road until Sep and within 5 miles of first ride there was a horrendous noise coming from valve train. Took to ex Guzzi mechanic who diagnosed the flat tappet problem which I soon learned affected all pre 2011 stelvios and most were fixed on recall by Guzzi until they went on to roller tappets..... Looking at the internet this is common knowledge - not to Jem speed. They had taken in an absolute knacker and passed it on to me with no pre sale inspection which would have soon diagnosed the problem. Got in touch with them 16 Sep and because I had paid on 10th Aug they tried to say it was out of warrantee. Fortunately it had not been delivered until 20th August so they reluctantly agreed to look at it. Day 34 - they picked bike up. I informed them by e mail that the valve train was knackered and this was very common problem as they would find if looking at the internet and Guzzi's recall Day 49 - called me to say sorted..... tappets were out of adjustment.......pre sale inspection and service??? No problem with valve gear..... sent me an after market warrantee (then knowing what the actual problem was!) Day 52 - bike returned to me with no change in odometer so no test ride. Day 56 - first chance to ride bike. tappets rattling like hell within 5 miles and oil pouring out of the cam cover which was loose. Day 65 - they picked the bike up again. I reiterated this is not tappet adjustment. the valve train is knackered. Day 85 - after various requests for updates they tell me they waiting instruction from the warrantee company! Day 93 - inform me they claiming off the warrantee company. Day 97 - they finally order the correct parts that should have been diagnosed faulty and fitted when they took the bike in....... if the mechanic had not been brain dead..... Day 199 - yes 199! finally respond to various requests for update telling me parts due in 3 days. The delay between ordering and arrival was Guzzi's fault admittedly. Day 226 - request update. and Mr Megson informs me they are now closed for Covid so no workshop or business to give me refund which I now requested as I had obviously had enough.......... Day 227 - they are putting new videos promoting bikes on their face book page....... no workshop or business activity?? Day 317 - various requests for updates largely ignored.... then managed to talk to someone who told me valves were damaged on stelvio - do I want another bike...... Do I F**** want another bike from them! Speak to their (new) mechanic who tells me that the tappets had been screwed down to the extent the valve was hardly moving and had burned out........ guess who had screwed the tappets down twice hoping I would be stupid enough to think the bike was sorted?? Yes Jemspeed !!!! Demand my money back again. Day 336 - Finally got my money back - just the invoice price - no compensation for lost insurance , tax, phone calls, nearly a year of stress and annoyance and no use of the bike. And no apology.. OK so Covid happened (but they were still operating as per their face book advertising) and Guzzi took about 3 months to deliver the repair kit. Moral of the story - do not touch Jemspeed , even with someone else's barge pole. They should not be let near motorcycles and only their incompetence exceeds their total lack of customer service. Take in shit bikes and bang them out without any inspection or servicing!! Appalling - thank God I will never have to deal with them again and hopefully this plus the hundreds of other bad reviews will put the tosspots out of business.

Bought a 2009 speed triple for a good price. Paid cash and picked up late night on Wednesday (a great idea for those working the normal 9-5) When I bought the bike the guy was pleasant and left me to mull the bike over without any hard sells. Agreed on a price as a few bits needed looking into, which they sorted out no problems. Picked the bike up as I said on a Wednesday evening, Bike was proper hacky and looked like it had been sat in a shed since I paid for it. No fuel in the bike, and I mean no fuel. Cut out about 100 metres from the petrol station. No bother I thought such is life. The bike then developed a fault where it wouldn't start, battery was fine etc sent them a message on Facebook no reply, called them up the next day and they said id have to get it down to them, which I couldn't because it wouldn't run. They said they often have deliverys and could arrange to pick it up when they were in my area. Fabulous I thought but after more phonecalls nothing materialised. I ended up sorting the problem myself which turned out to be a loose earth wire on the engine block where some heated grips had been earthed to, coupled with 2 broken wires in the loom that ran on the OS frame area ( around the vin plate area) I rang to tell them what I'd found just as a heads up incase they get another problem that is similar but they had forgotten I'd existed at that point. I get that problems happen and not all bikes are given a going over (I went to York triumph to have it looked over) oil was low even though it had been serviced by them before I picked it up, amongst some other little issues. I'd been warned about the place before I had gone but I'm a big believer in calling things as I see them, I just wish they had done what they had said. I've no doubt the good reviews outweigh the bad and on a whole they seem to be doing well I just hope they work on the after sales service before it's too late.

I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing my Tuono with 600 miles on from Jem Greed Shop. It was advertised 'having just received its 'run in' service' but no evidence was provided upon delivery. After 3 weeks of emails and voicemails i finally got through to someone who told me the service had been done and was stamped in the book at 600 miles. This was in fact the PDI (at 2 miles) and said next service due at 600 miles! After explaining this i was told they carried a service out and would send me the service receipt which they later did. The receipt for all the work was dated 3 days AFTER i took delivery! I obviously questioned this as was nervous the manufacturers warranty would be void if it wasn't actually serviced and the response i got was 'if your not happy, we'll take the bike back, thanks for the email'. Having spent the previous 3 weeks adding upgrades to the bike i didn't want it returned,and was actually really pleased with it (which i told them), i just wanted to receive the 'run in' service it was sold with. Its now booked into my local dealer at £260 and they've not responded to my last email. Utter cowboys, mis-selling bikes and not owning up to what could have been an honest mistake easily rectified by covering the cost of the service. Request to see all paperwork and receipts before agreeing to anything as you'll get no support once they've got your money. Not even an apology for ignoring the 3 weeks of polite voicemails and emails when i know they were operating.
