Have a gorgeous Boxster for sale, unfortunately I couldn't take delivery until 27th. and there was that much interest it couldn't wait; both John and Andy were great to deal with; knowledgeable and understanding - they know their stuff. it's rare to see such care nowadays - friendly, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable, felt like friends, more than sales-people which you normally get. Highly recommended as we didn't explain circumstance but they were completely understanding.
I had terrible dealing with John Webb & Son. More interested in showing off muscle than customer service. I paid deposit for a car and it failed Mot. I was forced to choose another car and they kept £150 to adjust in next car purchase. Never been back St once. Avoid visiting this place. Any verified low scoring reviews is followed by two unverified positive reviews. One bad experience is too many in modern online competitive market. 1975 era of John's dad is different than paperless era. John and Andy act like good cop and bad cop. I will never forget the way they kept fooled me and kept my money. I will keep posting my reviews to protect other decent law abiding customers. If I can help one customer not to fall pray of so called friendly and knowledgeable people, I think I have done my job and cleared my conciseness.
Fantastic dealership! Honest, Aware of your needs and willing to go that extra mile for their customer. I have just had my M.O.T and Service after purchasing my car last June and can safely say these gents will look after you. The vehicle was handed over to me in mint condition and has been a brilliant car over the last year. Very glad to have come across John Webb and Son, would recommend a visit if your thinking of getting new wheels!!!
Twice now I've been to John and Andy when I've been after a car, each time they have got out off there way to find me the exact car that I wanted, the first one being a bmw m3 , and the latest which is an Audi s5 both being the best examples I've scene, fully service and detailed each time I've picked them up! Would highly recommend these guys and will definitely be back for the next car.
I paid £100 deposit to see Range Rover vogue that John web and sons listed on autotrader discription was great images looked great. Car was the biggest disappointment ever, back windows not going down, drivers seat leather torn and chair damaged and broken, front left light damaged, sensors not working. Either. None of this mentioned over the phone before taken deposit or even after letting them know I'm going to travel 150 miles to come see the car. When questioned guy called Andy about the damages all he would say is that's what you get for the price paid but I'm sorry 2004 ranger rover vogue for £6000 needs to be in a much better condition or at least damages listed mentioned and not hidden on images. I lost my deposit, £60 on petrol and not to mention whole day came home very disappointed as I went with cash to buy the car. We go do dealers and traders out of trust I wouldn't have been so disappointed but I called again to confirm 2 days before non of these damages was mentioned to be even after asking. Please don't be stupid like me as ask them loads of questions before you go down as these guys seem like del boys trying to make quick money. Specially the Guy Andy very rude over the phone and dishonest. They didn't even offer to fix damages I didn't ask for a single peen discount. Please be aware. The same car was listed before Andy said previouse buyers finance did not go through that's why I have delisted. I am going to call again to see if they same the same about me. Seems to me they are after people's deposit money.

I am sorry to see your review on the Range Rover that you came to see. No where in the description was there any misleading statements. The car was not described as immaculate/perfect or in any way stated it was unmarked. You do not mention that the car you came to view was 150000 miles and 12 years old. there is no trick photography as all photos are taken off a phone and put straight onto our website. The car has since been sold to a customer who accepted the condition was acceptable for the age/ mileage and price. unfortunately in the motor trade we can not change peoples expectations of how a car will look for a high mileage car and 12 years old but thankfully many of our customers understand that cars with high mileage may have signs of wear and tear. No one is told via adverts or phone calls that any car is unmarked or perfect. Any person who phoned about that particular car was told the condition was clean for the age and mileage of the car. We are sorry you felt let down with your visit and we are certainly not in the market to take peoples deposits
Having seen a vehicle being advertised by John Webb motors I was keen to make the 2+ hour journey on my only day off to take the car for a test drive. I made certain to check over the phone that the car was as good as the advert suggested as I was worried about wasting my time & money. Sorry to say the car was a terrible example which had been nicely covered up with some clever photography & misleading words. Driver seat ripped beyond use, car filthy, rear arm rest bolts missing therefore falling apart, large crack in the front light case & more scratches & scuffs than I could count. To top it off I was told in thier opinion this was in great shape & worth every penny of the non negotiable price tag, would hate to see your idea of a bad example John Webb... Waste of time, other cars also looked of poor quality.

Dark blue ranger rover vogue I just had he same experience buddy these people took 2 hours of my time £100 deposit. They are the worst kind of sales people I have met specially that Andy guy. Most dishonest man I'v met I don't know how they go home and feed there family with that kind of money. Wripoing people off.
A few months ago I bought a Porsche Cayenne Turbo from John Webb and Son. When I acquired the vehicle there were a number of issues that required attention, all of these issues with one exception rectified. After several attempts at no small cost to John Webb, it proved impossible and un-viable to resolve the final issue. Tuesday with some regret and disappointment I returned the car and was fully reimbursed for the full purchase price. This I felt is all that anyone could reasonably expect.
Overall the sale was alright, John seemed like a nice enough bloke. The car was in a tightly packed car lot so I couldn't really get down and give it a proper look, when I picked the car up it hadn't been cleaned and when I got it home I noticed a few scratches and marks which ought to be included in the ad. Other than that it's a lovely car and I'm very pleased with it
The car I purchased from John Webb & Sons was of a high quality, it was a fair price and is running well. The man I dealt with seemed like a decent bloke, he gave me a bit of a hard sell on the warranty but I stood firm. I would consider buying from them again.
The worst car buying experience I have ever had. The vehicle I purchased from John Webb and Son developed a gearbox box fault within four weeks of buying it. Initially they told me they where unable to find a fault and it maybe due to the way I drive. I persisted with them and eventually they sent it to a gearbox specialist who confirmed there was a fault. I assumed this would be covered under warranty. They kept my vehicle in there yard for over 3 months whilst they attempted to find a gearbox from a scrap car. They where unable to do so. Reluctantly they agreed that the best of course of action was to recondition the original box and I would contribute to make that happen. After a further 3 weeks the vehicle was ready for collection. It cost me £600, within 2 hours of collection the engine overheated and now needs a new engine. They now say that despite the fact that I have done less than 1000 miles and it has been with them for 4 months out of the 8 months I own it. It has no warranty and they have now intention of helping me resolve this issue. I am currently seeking legal advice.
