Got a golf 20 plate picked it up heard noises took it back 2 days later and the technician stated all pads and disc need to be replaced!!. Must have been unsafe so I don't believe in their claim of checking cars before handover. After taking it home I noticed a crack on panoramic roof and took car back only to be told it could be my fault so they gonna check if it will be done under warranty. Apparently its common for plastic to crack due to poor manufacturer bonding. I did tell them but may go and ask to exchange car under no quibble 30 day exchange policy Cars need to have proper quality checks before handover with video recording as evidence. You cant start blaming customers especially if your changing breaks on a 20 plate car which should have been done beforehand. . Apparently they gonna get master technician to investigate but it seem like they trying to delay issue in order to drag the 30 day exchange no quibble after that i am stuck with the car
8 minutes ago A very disappointing experience. First of all, I was forwarded to the ‘Fleet Services’ department here as VW HQ was unable to match their own advertised online quote... should have seen the writing on the wall... The ‘Fleet Services’ department acknowledged this problem and managed to beat the original quote. Delighted, of course, I decided to sign up and order the vehicle. However, once the contracts were signed, they then decided they no longer intended to honour the agreed deal and managed to requote adding a whopping 40% increase to our monthly payment. So now more expensive than even the original online quote. All this without a care in the world. Overall, an incredibly unprofessional experience which means I would think twice before ordering here... or ordering a VW at all. Anyway, you’ve all been warned :)

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN,NIGEL AND JOSH JUST DO NOT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAR,I HAD THE DIS-PLEASURE OFF HAVING TO TAKE MY CAR THERE FOR A RECALL BUT IS WAS OVER 50 MILES AWAY AND THEY WOULD NOT HELP IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM,ITS A VW GOLF GTE WHICH HAS A RECALL FOR THE BATTERY CASING FOR WHICH NOBODY BOTHERED TO TELL ME FROM OUR LOCAL VW GARAGE,IT IS DANGEROUS AND NOT SAFE TO DRIVE AND TOLD THEM THAT BUT THEY JUST SAID WE WILL TRY AND PICK IT UP IN 3 WEEKS OR BRING IT IN MONDAY AND WE WILL DO IT STRAIGHT AWAY,NO CUSTOMER CARE WHATS SO EVER AND THE £20.000 CAR CAME BACK DIRTY,I ADVISE EVERYBODY TO AVOID THIS GARAGE LIKE THE PLAGUE,TERRIBLE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.

Bought a Polo last time but it was time for a change and I wasn’t disappointed. All experiences I have had with the Johnson’s Solihull branch have been positive: they’ve advised me well; I’ve felt looked after; and I’ve never felt mislead as the staff are very honest and straight-talking! Do yourself a favour stay away from Johnson’s Solihull. There customer service is appalling. They are not very good at communicating. They try to charge you for issues that are covered by warranty. Seriously wish I hadn’t bought a vw. After sales care is awful.
The staff at Johnsons Volkwagen in Solihull were very unprofessional. Loud laughter and joking instead of looking after customers. Not impressed. Brings the tone down of a very Classy showroom.
After breaking down on a main road in Solihull, whilst working away from home....an angel appeared to help me before the AA got there, his name was Jack and can I just say how amazing this guy is....he was most helpful, informative and a credit to his company. Was so refreshing and if I need anything to do with my car or need a new one in the near future, then I wouldnt hesitate to go from Nottingham to Solihull, as this man is such an amazing example of how your staff should be... Thanks Jack and also his manager at Johnsons Volkwagen Solihull for allowing him to take time out from other jobs to help me.

Approached service desks at Volkwagen Solihull on Saturday to one young girl who didn't even look up at me and spoke to me in a very abrupt miserable manner. I was made to feel very uncomfortable. Such a shame as it ruined my experience in such a beautiful showroom
Manager at Volkswagen Solihull s very rude,unhelpful. He knows nothing about the car and not sure how the Johnsons employs such people... They would not even remove tow bar from the used car which I bought recently for the displayed price and when asked came up with lies it would take a set time to remove it and that they would charge for it (not sure what set time is...another way of making money!!!!) as it is laughable to think they would charge a customer who bought a car for 14000 for just have a towbar removed from the car ... I highly suggest to avoid them.. not sure what other problem would come to light once it is driven off -- they says it comes with one year warranty ... would have to wait and see what lies are in stores if I had to take it back with any possible problems with it - will need to wait and see!!!!
