I bought a zafira 6 months ago had a issue with door handle would not open but they fixed it no problem .It has been running well ever since .The staff was very helpful .The only problem i have is getting paint on it (i am a decorator ) as i need it for work I am very happy with the car regards Colin

STAY AWAY DO NOT BUY A CAR OR VAN OR ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE I bought a Renault Kangoo van and collected it on the 5-09 after they had mot’ed and serviced it On the 11-09 I was on the motorway and the van lost power would not go above 50mph On the 12-09 Saturday I took it back Mr Slav told me they would have a look On the 15-09 Tuesday he rang me to say we have fixed it so I collected the next day Wednesday All seemed ok I did a 2 mile round trip on Thursday I left for work at 7.30 Friday got on the motorway and the engine went bang with smoke bellowing out this was within 3 miles from home I got pick up using MY cover and dropped off at home I rang Mr Slav and told him he said bring the van back I can’t I replied it will not drive! Well we won’t collect it So after some heated words I paid for a transporter to collect it and drop it off I the mean time I ask who the manager was I was told Jeremy Smith I ask to speak with him And was told he was at the auction Then he was driving we will connect you This happened 4 times I wrote them an email on Saturday After taking legal advice informing them I want a full refund and the van is not fit for purpose After calling them 3 times today I have received this email As you can see no mention of them having it back because I wasn’t working Hi David As per our telephone conversation I can confirm that we won’t be taking the car back for a refund. The car was purchased for £2495 at 126500 miles and was handed over to you on 05/09/20 after we had done a full mot and service on the vehicle changing 2 rear coil springs and wiper blades whilst the service included oil and filter change. just bought a Renault Grand Scenic, i can honestly say the service i recieved was 2nd to none we was welcomed by friendly staff, not pressured at all, Justine was very knoweledgeable and was very helpful with my finance company, just pickedthe car up noticed that the last owners wheere unscrupilous and had removed the SD card from the car but Justine rang Jeremy and a new card is being ordered and posted i highly reccomend Karl smiths ignore the negative reviews these are people that live to whine and moan

Karl smith car sales is not a car sales place, this is a place to lure people in, over charge them, Lie to their face and con, con, con!! Absolutely disgusting service from Jeremy and Justine, the manner/tone of how they speak to you when you call them to advise there is an issue with the £5,500 car you've just bought is disgusting, I wouldn't speak to my dog the way they spoke to me! I served them with a short term rights rejection notice after being told i'm not getting a refund for the car after i've gave them the opportunity to fix and they did'nt! Called Jeremy yesterday on a withheld number as they were avoiding my calls and he laughed at me and told me he rejects my rejection notice and that i would need to get the Trading standards to write to him. Well they will be doing more than writing to him :) (all calls are recorded) :). I've also informed Warranty Wise and the AA of the disgusting service and un-road worthy cars this garage is coning people to buy! Its a shame i've had to write this review as when i stepped into the garage they were so helpful and kind and lovely people, UNTIL THEY GET YOUR MONEY!!!

It is a sad indictment of society where someone has the digital platform to vent ones spleen with everything that is wrong with their lives and manifests itself in a vehicle. I suppose I will entertain you all with a reply but it really doesnt need one. Leigh has recently moved from Liverpool to the area with her daughter and made a great point of wanting to shop locally. Prior to "lock down" she had a complaint that her cruise control was not working via the button on the steering wheel. Within the first week of opening we inspected her car and advised an auto electrician would need to investigate, ALAS with a 4 ramp workshop and 2 technicians, that isnt god enough for some people, despite the car being supplied with a full MOT and a full PDI before purchase. We are human beings and will not tolerate this kind of slander and lies without a right to reply and after 40 years in business it does appear to be the norm nowadays. However, for all you normal, sensible, reasonable minded people out there, tap into your self conscience and read between the lines rather than the drama. FAMILY RUN BUSINESS, SAME PREMISES FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND WE CARE!!!!!!!
Just bought my lad a C1 as a first car from Karl Smith Car Sales. Excellent service as always (thats our 6th car) we have bought as a family from them. Always courteous, superb after sales service and MOT for life too. I wouldnt buy a car anywhere else. Stacey and Mike very obliging and just about to have our Golf serviced and Motd next week.
